They’re both located on the big lake
It’s Cleveland this wknd & Pats would benefit by Browns beating Buffalo Bills
A backfield of Nick Chubb & Kareem Hunt? It’s a done deal - all Baker will have to do is hand off
....until Browns bring back Josh Gordon & sign Antonio Brown - now watta team That’d be
Balt was impressive, esp w/that big drive at start of 2nd half - Pats back up by 2 games if Browns win

Passed for 446 yards, they didn’t play LeSean McCoy tho & lost by 3
A big drive by the Browns, then they hung on by their whiskers at the end for the win, also by 3 -
Big for Pats as they go into tougher part of their schedule - this was a well timed bye week, some of the injured starters should be back next week in Phila (5-4) - they’re coming in off their bye week too - Phila Flyiz in town tonite, kya-Mahn broonz - shoot, noticed no Sat. afternoon matinees w/them this year, had become a semi-regular thing

Ya The Browns Won One!!

Last 2 weeks in the pick em pools have been brutal for everybody......

My girlfriend has been making the picks all season. Forgot to make the 4 o'clock picks. Would've had 8 wins. Not bad for a woman who thinks "touchback" is funny.

Amazing game last night. So much drama and suspense. It is going to be difficult for SF to match that intensity next game. Seattle with bye.

That game was great!!

The cough up tonite will be tough to forget, that was 2 points in the bank after that big 10 minute blitz in 2nd period & a 4-0 third period lead - instead we sh!t the bed & now an L4 - still early yes but a complete bust tonite & would’ve been if we’d won the SO

Big NFL games this wknd

We coughed up another last nite, so did Flyiz & it’ll be a salty atmosphere at Pats- Eagles game in Philly - big for Pats w/Buff playing 2-7 Miami

That’s who Browns play next week - Browns have won 2 in a row & schedule is favorable w/Dolphins & two w/Bungles - just depends on how they adjust w/no Myles Garrett - guessing Kareem Hunt will have big game next week

Who benefitted most from their bye week will be interesting to see today in Phila - gotta strong suspicion it’ll be ‘the visiting team’

TB w/14 incomplete passes in the 1st half - his most ever in one half
On a day when they were Far from perfect, Pats found a way - punter & FG kicker are co-MVPs today
Phils got 49 free yards on a BS pass interference penalty, leading to their FG in 1st quarter
After that, Shut Down Cold - once again, crusher D

Same thing as last week, Buff has a winnable game & Pats must beat another traditional NFL team to keep 2 game lead
This time it’s Dallas “America’s Team” Cowboys (6-4)
Yes it’s their traditional nickname, however, they’re not the only team in Dallas, much-less America

That’s right - after 14 years in Anaheim & 13 in San Jose, Corey Perry & Joe Pavelski have joined forces w/Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn & never-heard-of-him coach Jim Montgomery......& suddenly, their hockey team (13 of 15) is the hottest in the league & all-the- **** among Dallas fans while supplanting Cowboys as Lone Star(s)

TV ratings this afternoon would verify that - w/talk-of-the-league rookie Luka, Kristaps & Mavs (W4) playing TX rival Harden & Houston, most Dallas fans will likely be watching the second half of the basketball game, instead of the first half of the football game (they overlap) - even w/Pats

Pats likely to gain 10th win but even in Fxbrgh, it’s won’t be easy - wasn’t last week in Phila either - Browns can stay in it w/expected home win over Miami

SF is ‘uber-talented’ as we’re seeing, & now would that be all the sh!t or What - former Brady understudy Jimmy Garropolo & Niniz, 19-1, vs his mentor TB12 & defending-champion Patriots, also 19-1.....
.....in next year’s Super Bowl
It’d be a ratings wrecker, an advertising bonanza

You mean 17-1.

Yeah, that'd be an awesome game.

I'd like to see the Pats go 18-1.

Again.

Packers got spanked, I'm not surprised. They've been coasting for a few weeks, lucky to get the Chiefs and Panthers without their starting QBs. There's a great team in there somewhere, but it doesn't seem to be all together yet. Can't throw down field when your offensive line is crumbling. And their secondary has been giving up too many big plays.

SF is very good tho, & How Good, we’ll see Sunday in Balt - that is a SB-caliber matchup - the Monday night MN-Seattle is tops also - Seattle & Buffalo are breathing down 49ers & Pats necks - Bills visit Cowboys Thursday
It’ll be a hostile environment Sunday night in Houston (7-4), few Pats fans there

The Lions / Bears spread went from Lions -1 to Bears +6 this morning. Wow, a 7 point swing. I've actually heard of this QB they have today. He went to Purdue. Not bad in college. Undrafted.

Defecting is one thing but some Dallas fans were also defecating their dismay all over AT&T Stadium to match what they saw outta their football team during today’s game & while filing out early

& migrating toward the rink
Where the Stanley Cup champion Blues - who Dallas trails by 4 points - visit tmrw nite -
& their basketball team, a huge how-good-really-are-we game Sunday w/LeBron & league-leading Lakers

The Cowboys, an afterthought in the Big D - who’da.......
TX has another shot at an AFC East team Sunday in Houston - it too will prove fruitless

Habs outplayed Flyiz but will still bring an L7 into the 2nd of their back to back tmrw in Boston

We waxed them 8-1 last week but Jaroslav still had to make 36 saves - go figure
biggest thing, we gotta keep pace w/Wash - it’s been dormant for years/will bump the old thread for puck posts in the future/should’ve in the first place

Bruce Cassidy’s record since taking over for the great Claude Julien
135-55 -
coach J is our all time winningest coach & as usual will be greeted accordingly

Can’t forget 40 years ago “on this day” - Marvin Hagler vs. Vito Antuofermo, one of the greatest 15-round matches Ever - & the call of a draw was spot on

Big NFL games tomorrow, it’s in Pittsburgh this time, let’s go Browns

Cincy, Miami & Wash all won, Pats & SF lost - some pool beatdowns today altho Niniz-Balt was no gimme - that Dec 22 Bills game will determine division - Balt can help by beating Buff next week, that’s a real good matchup - Ravens are beating the best out there -
Pats will be fine - Houston was sharp last night, great QB in Watson - it’s KC next week - & what will Browns do w/suddenly-streaking Cincy

Baltimore looks like the real deal, 49ers don't look bad either. Could be a Super Bowl preview, would be an interesting rematch.

This might be the weakest Pats team in a few years. Still good but the Chiefs and Bills games will be telling. Can't sleep on the Chiefs since they've got Mahomes back.

Nice to see the Dolphins win one, hard to root against Fitzy.

Packers were finally able to put some distance between them and the Giants in the 4th quarter, 3 picks doesn't hurt. They need to get their running game back on track if they want a home playoff game, which would likely be against Minnesota or Seattle (who square off tonight!).

Also, can we talk about how terrible Atlanta Falcons fans are? Fancy new stadium was completely empty on Thanksgiving night even though they still had a chance late in the game against their biggest rival.

The Bengals win (WTF?) was the first and only win for a team with a feline name/mascot since that black cat interrupted a game a few weeks back.

Going into yesterday all those teams were 0-12.

Weird.
