My thoughts on the show, although not a one of you asked for my opinion...

Strange hearing/seeing someone "else" playing that awesome slide on songs like Whipping Post, although that guy is really, really good.

The flute in the band is an awesome touch.

Gregg, during interview, is awesome. He has some gems of stories to tell, I just wish the stupid bimbo inteviewer would let him talk.

Never heard that Allstate story before, hilarious.

I had to laugh at this. I had kind of the same feeling about the interviewer.

Gregg looked and sounded great, and the band sounds great as well. And how about Jerry Jemmott...65 years old, looks like he's 45 and moves like he's 25.

That interviewer needs to find a new line of work.

I would have like to seen Gregg put a move on her....

She was not good at all

I've watched this show for quite some time and always thought she blathers on endlessly, glad to hear others think the same thing. They do get some good performances on there though and she is rather visually appealing.

It's always good to see Gregg or anyone related to the ABB on TV and being interviewed. I liked watching him and the band perform. That being said, the interviewer was annoying and it looked like Gregg wasn't too thrilled with her either. I'm glad I watched it but doubt I'll give it another look. I'll spend the time listening to his CD's instead!

The interviewer sucked big time and was too busy sucking up to Gregg rather than conducting an informative interview. I thought she was gonna jump on his lap and start going at it right there. LOL! He actually looked uncomfortable about some of the things she was saying. Music was great but not enough. Just love the version of 'Melissa' with the Jay Collins flute solo. I would have preferred just music rather than listen to that interview though.

I thought that it was way cool to see an hour show on Gregg. I am sure the network chopped his statements in editing. I am gonna check out the AETV site and see the extras. Way cool arrangement of Whipping Post

Loved the music.

Perhaps that wasn't the right "format" for a GA interview, though? Simply mean that it appeared to take a little while for his answers to get formulated but the interviewer was moving on to another topic to try and get a response. Darn short-attention-span youngst...

I'm sorry, what did you say?

Amen! GA knows how to pick bass players--I've seen him with Willie Weeks and now Jerry Jemmott, two of my groove favorites!

Any special story on Jerry's bass? It appears to be an old Fender Jazz without the Fender info on the headstock and some extra details on the body...

no reason to complain about the interviewer at least Gregg is getting the exposure that is well deserved

I thought the show was good. Gregg and the band sounded nice. Loved the flute! I did think though that you could tell he wasn't up to his old self at that time yet, which is understandable. Still a bit more subdued than normal.

I thought the interview was fine but it must have been edited a bunch. All the interviews on that show, no matter who the artist is tends to be very superficial talk...not a lot of meat.

It was good to hear the music and for Gregg to have an hour dedicated to himself. I wished he had played more stuff off of the new CD though.

Oh, I also didn't like the Warren snub when mentioning 'Just Another Rider'!!! Why couldn't she just have said Gregg co wrote the song with ABB band mate Warren Haynes instead of just ABB band mate. That was weird, disrespectful, and plain amateurish IMO. How is the non hard core Gregg and ABB fan supposed to know which band mate she was referring to???? Just brutal!!!

When the interviewer is running the show and sucks at her job, it is very hard not to complain . I do agree any exposure for G.A. is good
