Does it get any better than hearing the intro to Whippin Post or Les Brers? How about the fun Berry has singing Hoochie Coochie Man. Truly an original and greatly missed. Here's to brother B.O. RIP. |

The Brothers have had some damn fine bass players but none match what Berry brought to the bands sound.
RIP Brother B.O. |

His last year was rough for Berry -- as it was for all the Brothers
but his music was still great -- Mt. Jam bass solo 1/25/72 Atlanta -- his thundering sound 4/8/72 Syracuse
forty-five years on, his loss is still felt, & what was so awesome lasted for such a short time with Berry's passing, & the end of the "Big House" era shortly after -- hastened by the news that filtered in that he was to be a dad again, only with his girlfriend
Duane & Berry -- A Time That Was -- I love the ABB -- thanks for everything Duane & BO ____________________ "I know y'all came to hear our songs, we like to play 'em for you but without Gregg here it's really hard for us to do. He sings & plays so much & does such a good job. He's really sick, 103* He might've come, but no one would let him." Duane |
