Another major package tour will be hitting the road this summer. Jeff Beck and Paul Rodgers will embark on a co-headlining Stars Align tour, with Ann Wilson of Heart serving as the opening act.

In a press release announcing the shows, all three artists shared their mutual love for one another, with Beck stating, “I always enjoy touring the U.S. in the summer, and joining with Paul, and Ann Wilson, should make for quite an exciting night,”

“This is going to be a knockout combination of music and musicians,” added Rodgers. “I’ve always been a Jeff Beck fan. Who isn’t? He is in a league of his own. Ann Wilson has an amazing voice and is a brilliant songwriter. 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of Free, and I hope we can touch your spirit with the ‘Spirit of Free.’”

“I am thrilled to added been asked to perform on the Stars Align Tour with Jeff Beck and Paul Rodgers,” Wilson, who's currently on a break from Heart, said. “They are both long time favorites of mine! They are masters at their craft and it is an honor to share the stage this summer.”

The tour will begin July 18 at the Usana Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah, on July 18 and conclude at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa on Aug. 26. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Feb. 2)= at 10AM local time with a pre-sale for Citi cardholders starting tomorrow at noon local time.

Are you referring to the tour with Buddy Guy as the opening act? I saw this tour in Canandaigua, NY and it was fantastic. At least I thought so anyway.

Count me in as one who also really enjoyed Beck during the 2016 tour. As much as I love Buddy Guy, I have seen him many times and found his set to be perfunctory. But Beck was on fire and I really like the album he was touring on along with having Jimmy Hall and the female singer who was on the album. I just bought a third row ticket for the West Palm Beach show which I think is a fantastic lineup.

Debating about going to this show. I really have
never gotten into Jeff Beck. I enjoyed his earlier
stuff here and there, but his guitar playing these days does nothing
for me,and I find it hard to sit through. Does not stir
my soul.

I had the same opinion of Buddy Guy too, until this performance I saw in 2016. He was on that night and stayed away from the sometimes over the top banter with the audience I've witnessed in previous performances. His band was great and he shut up and just sang and played his ass off.

Then Beck and his band hit the stage and, in my opinion, blew the place up. Now to be fair, it was the first and thus far only time I've seen Beck so I was very excited to see him. I thought his band was great and I was in awe of his mastery of the stratocaster. His style is so unique and just watching him pull the music from his instrument is mesmerizing.

It also didn't hurt seeing him in such a beautiful venue with a number of friends there with me on a warm mid summer night. Watching a near full moon setting behind the stage glistening across one of the Finger Lakes in western, NY is never a bad experience.

Interesting match... I wonder if they'll do any songs with each other.

That is the show.

Buddy was great.

We walked out on beck.

The mix sucked and rosie bones and jimmy hall were gawdawful on "vocals".

Worst concert I've ever seen.
