Fender31, thanks for posting this. Chris once explained this song was about early on in their careers when they were just starting out. (Mr. Crowes Garden ?) He mentioned riding in a van from Atlanta to Chapel Hill, NC and Greenville, SC. drinking cokes and eating candy bars. It's always been one of my favorites.

This is the greatest Black Crowes tune ever, and one of my favorite songs of all time.

BRILLIANT!

My favorite Crowes song. Loved Amorica. One of only 2 CDs I bought during my first year at college. I was 1000 miles from home and this song meant, and means, a lot to me.

Do you get Palladia from your cable tv provider? They play it a decent amount on that channel.

I haven't been able to listen to the audio on the youtube link yet at work to compare this one, but since Luther has come aboard w/ the Crowes, the Jam they are doing between Wiser Time and Ballad in Urgency (two of my favorites) sounds alot like some of the more agressive Mountain Jam jamming from the Brothers in 1970, I am thinking in particular of one of the takes from the Atlanta Pop Festival cds, can't remember if it is part 1 or 2. Great stuff, the Crowes rocked Wiser Time and Ballad at Chastain in October. If you are a Crowes fan and haven't picked up "Before the Frost...Until the Freeze" yet then you are missing out on the best release of 2009, amazing stuff.
