I did a couple searches and didnt find anything, so I apologize if someone has already posted...

But did ANYONE but me catch the Warren Haynes interview on Opie and Anthony yesterday? It was tremendous. He visited with them about 30 min...typical down to earth Warren...Opie, Anthony, and Jim Norton we're all impressed with him, both as a guest and when he played. He brought in an acoustic and played Soulshine, something off the new album and finished with "Hard Times" from HTN. Their jaws were all on the floor at the end of that one. It was a great segment...he was very candid...nothing is sacred to O & A, so they were just asking him everything... I recall one started like "Dickey is one crazy mf isnt he?" to which warren replied unequivocally "YES, Yes he is..." it was hilarious. He talked about the David Allen Coe years, Christmas jam, all kinds of stuff. But man, what a cool guy Warren seems to be. For being one of the top 5 guitarists on the planet...he sure comes across as a normal, humble guy. One thing about it though, when he picked up that guitar, he wasnt too humble! AWESOME.

I am sure the interview is online somewhere, if someone finds it, post a link. ABB/Warren fans - this is a must hear.

And a big shout out to O & A...if it werent for them, I would never turn on a radio.

wish i could have heard that...I'd say Warren is about as "down to earth" as it gets.A few years ago in Memphis I went to see them at the Gibson Lounge.Their bus was parked on a side street between the Gibson factory & Beale St....We'd been going back & forth across that street all afternoon...Taking the Gibson factory tour & hanging on Beale.about 2 hr's before the show,we crossed it again,& i looked down at the bus (pkd. at the other end of the street) & there stood Warren,in a drizzling rain out on the sidewalk all by himself. So,I took the opportunity to go down & introduce myself & shake his hand.He could not have been any nicer. My other 3 bud's introduced themselves & we talked to him for about 10 minutes...by that time, there was prob. another 30 folk's gathered around & we headed down to the entrance. When i looked back,Warren was still there Talking, shaking hands & autographing stuff....Warren is a class act...A#1 in my book.

I'm surprised Warren's never done Stern. Steph and Warren are friends with Artie Lange and have had him backstage at the Beacon. I'd love to hear that interview.

Along the same lines, did anyone hear Stephen Stills on Stern last week? He talked about his relationship with Duane. Pretty interesting.

Warren is pure class = why he hasnt been on stern.

There is coke & pepsi
Dish Network & Direct TV
Hannity or Colmes
And O&A and Stern...you love one, hate the other.

I'll be honest, I've never heard O & A, but I'm aware that most fans of one hate the other. I may be the only person in the country who listens to John Boy and Billy every morning then the Stern replay.

Couple weeks ago Warren was on the Bob & Tom show.

40 minutes of interview and he played three or four songs of By a Thread.

Must be great to be Warren Haynes right now.

Know what I mean?

I'm a Howard Stern kind of guy myself.
Surprised Warren isn't on there considering Stef is on Sirius Jam On 17 about everyday.
