I listened to this show several times in just one night last week when another poster here was kind enough to send me a link to the entire show.

It was awesome!

I'd like to see that link. My old bootleg of the show was never very good.

OK, gave it a listen again on Wolfgang's - brilliant. What is pretty cool is listening to Jerry and Dickey mix it up. I read that Dickey was a huge fan of Jerry's playing and emulated him in many ways. You can hear it here because it is sometimes difficult to tell them apart.

Just a fantastic listen -- I know what you mean, this show only really grabbed me by the ears in recent years -- the jams are real nice -- love this NYE show, gosh had forgotten about it being a NA Indian benefit too

Dickey was fantastic that night. I love what he did with Hideaway and Save My Life.

I was there! Just discovered this night on you tube. As I recall the Guitar, Steve Miller was the opening act juicing the night up even more. The next day began the 55mph law. We drove from SF to LA hungover real bad. Went 55 the whole rotten ride home. Memorable night.

we just happened to be listening to this last night at my good friend's baby "gender-reveal" party...holy smokes is Dickey ever "ON"! That tone is just singing and soaring...and Garcia is awesome as well. That played great and very inspired that night. The Mountain Jam and WP w/ Jer is truly something to behold!

This is an excellent show. I have it on my iPod. Listen to it a lot. The Whipping Post jam is excellent.
