...for bad behavior on the forums yesterday. It's not who I am, but like anyone else, I have my moments. I'll try to do better and not let myself get drawn in to bad feelings and heated exchanges. Thanks.

'Fraid so Brock. Instead of turning the other cheek, I showed my ass. It could have been worse, I suppose, but still not one of my proudest moments.

It takes a big man to apologize, Dave. Must be why you're Big Dave.

Me too Dave...I was a huge A$$ over on the WP last week....I'm trying to be good and keep my sarcastic mouth in place....but it just gets the best of me but it's usually some other stress that's on my mind and I get my mouth/fingers moving without my brain truly doing it's job of tempering because I can just let the crap flow once I get going, it's like a monster that feeds itself.

LOLů I think I just read the thread.

Maybe you just needed a nap, or a snack.

As I've learned over the years, when you make a mistake or behave badly, the best thing to do is acknowledge it, learn from it and move on.

And BTW, this Yankee takes no offense.

Dang! I guess I missed all the exitment. Oh well. I've been told I'm usually a dollar short or 5 minutes late to the party.

Don't be too hard on yourself. It's the net and it's ABB.com. Things come and go at the drop of a hat and we move on.

It was definitely out of character for you Dave, but I have to admit I laughed at the Yankee line!
I've done it myself too many times, but sometimes, something just really gets under your skin,
my skin and everybody else's.

The guy was taking cheap shots at BDOB, not the first time either... Dave told him what's up. Nothing to be sorry for IMHO, we don't have to like everyone we come in contact with. I know I certainly do not.

Damn straight.

Dave, I met RD last night in Ithaca, had seats next to me & Ken.

Said he met you & Bluedad this summer, had lots of good things to say about y'all.

I didn't read it, but I'm sure it wasn't half as bad as some things I've said here. You're a gentleman and a role model for all of us, Dave. No need for apologies, but I can understand the want to. Just makes us all look up to you even more.

Well, actually the Mason-Dixon line ended in Pennsylvania. The inference being the difference between Heartland Hoosiers and Noreaster Yankees.

I agree with John. I don't see where you were over the line at all dealing with that cheap shot wanna-be idiocy. Spot on.

Hey Dave,

You ( all of us ) are only human, no matter where we are from or are located now.

We're all just gonna move on, and not be upset.

Ah, the Yankee reference....I figured that would come back to bite me.

Just to be clear, I don't have a problem with Yankees. I love most Yankees. Hell, I am descended from Yankees. My ancestors were some of the first English settlers of Southampton, Long Island...early 17th century stuff.

I ought to quit while I'm ahead. The hole's getting deeper, huh?
