So I bought both the ABB and WSP sets at the 10/7 Portsmouth show. I bought them at the booth, filled out my info, paid with my debit card, and walked away with my receipt and stub. I told the lady there to ship them to me, but I still haven't seen anything in the mail. I e-mailed their customer service two days ago with my ticket # explaining the above, and still haven't heard back from them. Anyone else have a similar story? What's the deal here?

Yes, I had a very similar experience with munckmusic. In August @ an ABB show,, I paid for my cds; I filled out a shipping label and was told my cds would arrive in the mail the following week. Nearly a month later I was still waiting. So, I emailed munckmusic; I week went by and no reply. Now I think I'm being ignored(lol); I email them again. This time I got a response. I was basically told that there had been a screw-up and that they would ship my cds later in the week. Fine. Well, later that day in the mail I received my cds! So I emailed munckmusic back and informed them that I had already received my show. Great, thank you! No need to ship those cds later on in the week.lol

The bad news is: Munckmusic obviously isn't too organized; the good news is that you'll eventually get your cds. I hope.

Still waiting on my Jones Beach show I ordered at the venue. Sent 2 e-mails in the last 2 weeks and I still have not received a response from them. There is no phone # to call, their customer service horrible. Starting to wonder if I'll ever see the CD.

I had bought the live recording of Saratoga prior to Saratoga's 8/18/09 show.
The guy at the munchmix table told me that "our CD burning guy is not here
tonight, so we'll have to get your address and mail it to you."
The 8/18/09 Saratoga show arrived in my mailbox in early October. It took
a while, but it got here.

Since the switch from Instant Live to Munck, I have never picked up a show at the venue, or asked them to ship it. I've ordered online from the fine folks at HTN. As soon as the disc was reported in stock, I had my discs days later. This year I waited before ordering. When I finally placed it they told me 2 weeks as the first batch sold out (Mansfield). I got the show in the mail 6 days later.

They have been great from a customer service standpoint. The only issue was the delay on the Beacon CD's which wasn't due to their failure anyway. It's HTN from here on out for me!

I agree totally. If Munckmusic isn't going to burn the cds after the show, I'm going to wait to purchase them from HTN. It's a great staff of people there. Vicky, especially, has always been helpful.

I have gotten a few downloads from munchmix. once I forgot to check the flac box and they fixed it
for me via emails.

I think both Munchmix and HTN have excellent customer service.

I was at the Portsmouth, VA show and got my ABB discs before I left. I guess you could have them shipped if you couldn't wait, but if you stayed for Panic, there was plenty of time to get the Allman show.

I also picked up a recent show from Rob at the HTN tent (8/24) and the second Charlotte show from the Munck tent. Walked out of the show with three sets in hand.

Once I get my Beacon shows, and the Jimmy Herring show, and the two with Jack Pearson, then the Billy Gibbons show ..... I will be happy (er)!

Thanks to all who take the time to put these shows together!

I've had an on-going issue with Munckmusic since August. I successfully paid for and downloaded a couple of shows. I noticed that the provided artwork only fits a DVD style CD case. I made arrangements to purchase the cases from them and sent my money. The cases never arrived and I've sent e-mails to customer service 5 or 6 times without getting a single response. At this point I have given up hope and don't think I will ever do business with them again. Complete disregard for the customer.

Well, Munckmusic should try to do a better job of responding to their customer e-mails. It's just good business. As I've already noted, when I purchased my cds at SPAC, I was told they would arrive the following week. Clearly --from the look of this thread--that's not happening; they need to establish better communication with their customers. And with each other. I don't have any idea how many folks Munckmusic employs, but I get the strong sense that they're really disorganized. I don't believe that munckmusic is operating in bad faith, but they do seem overwhelmed. At least, for now.

I have emailed munck about 2 different issues, once about a year ago and again last month. They have yet to respond to either one. My credit card company took care of the recent issue. Munck's service is awful, yet I'm glad to be able to get downloads of shows. I wish they go with livedownloads like WSP, Phish and others or do something like Mule Tracks. I haven't had trouble with either of those.

When they don't provide a telephone number for customer service, it's usually not a good sign. It's a shame that a band like the Allman Bros. turns over this part of their business to folks who apparently are not capable, for whatever reason, of conducting business with the band's fans in a respectful, timely and professional manner. If you're not able to manage the customer service side of the business, you shouldn't be in the business. These guys just look like amateurs when you compare them to the folks who do this for Mule, Panic, etc.

I know there's been a bunch of Munck Music bashing on this thread and that's understandable since their customer service seems to be less than average. However I believe their people are recording the shows that HTN sells. Other than the first summer of 2007, I the recordings I've heard have been excellent (I was less than pleased with the '07 Boston show I got). I don't know if they have been remastered by HTN or not, but the quality has been top notch these last two years. If it's the Munkc Music folks, lets at least give them props for good recordings.

My recent experience with a Munck download was excellent!
Last year I had troubles paying with a creditcard (all kind of failures) and customer service was very helpful to establish a paying work-around.

I ordered the Holmdel show, at the show, and was told they would be to me by the second week of September. No show still. No big deal though. There aremore important things in life to reasie my blood pressure. However, I am thinking if I want to eventually get it then I should shoot them some e-mails and phone calls.

Send and email! I was at the Canandaigua show, ordered the IL, but when I got to the booth the line was huge. I paid the 3 bucks to have it sent to me and said it would be early Sep (the show was in late August). Nothing showed for 6 weeks. I sent and email and in a week got a response that was very apologetic saying it would be sent our immediately (end of Sept). Nothing by mid October sent another email and have yet to get a response, however, I get home from work Monday night and there is the MM package with the show I oredered plus another show from last summer?? Go figure. Send and email and maybe you'll get two shows!!

Wow, at least I know I'm not the only one. Thanks everyone for the response. And yes, HTN folks are good people who know how to take care of their customers. Lesson learned for BabaOrion.

Thanks! If anyone buys the 5/12/09 show, I need "It's Not My Cross To Bear" since the file was corrupted within the zip file and Munck has yet to make it right.

By getting downloads I can get more shows for the same money and (usually) I can listen to them right away.
