Widespread Panic offered their downloads for the same price less 15% when you ordered both nites of a two-nite gig. Plus, their downloads were available the next day after the shows.

Better price, faster delivery. Guess that's better than decent.

I bought the 5/12/09 show from munck and one of the files was corrupted. I emailed them several times and after 2 months now I still never heard from them. So I'm stuck with an incomplete purchase. I have much better experiences with Mule Tracks. And Munck's website doesn't seem to like Firefox.

That's exactly why I always make this kind of purchase with a credit or debit card. If the transaction goes south or they ignore you, you can always dispute the charge with your cardholder. Usually, that will get their attention. If not, you at least don't have to pay.

My recently experience with a Munck download was excellent!
Last year I had troubles paying with a creditcard and customer service was very helpful to establish a paying work-around.

That is just what I did. The credit card company refunded me, but still, I want the show and Munck has yet to contact me. Terrible service there. I'm leery of buying any more now. I did buy several of the 2007 & 2008 shows from them with minimal problems (re Firefox issue which I figured out on my own because they didn't respond to my emails then either!)

All Fall shows through 10/20 are up at abblive.com. Grabbed 10/13 and 10/17. (already had 10/9 from the show). 10/13's got Jack guesting on Dreams-Mtn Jam Whipping Post. Worth the $16.95 for the FLACs alone. 10/17's audience recording shows how much fun the boys were having in Houston for the last night of the Panic/ABB tour. Couldn't pass this one up in SBD form.

I've got a question...is the band cool with what's going on over at Munck, or whatever that site is called? I thought the ABB weren't cool with their live shows being downloaded....is this a band approved, legit business that Munck is operating? Regardless, after reading much of the feedback, I'll probably stay away from them. The audience recordings these days sound pretty darn good, especially when you don't have to hear the tape hiss on a fourth generation copy of anything. I'll still buy the band's material when I can, but I'll limit my purchases to the extremely rare shows...like Duane doing Blue Sky. Still gotta get that one.

It is legit of course, they are partners. It *IS* a soundboard after all.

they don't anyone not authorized to offer downloads.

trading live audience recorded shows is cool. just no downloading of audience recordings.

I have many soundboards and Find Munchmix very helpful. when I created a problem by not choosing flac.

Check out the 9-1 Chicago show. I was in attendance and it was fantastic! Seeing/hearing Buddy on stage with Derek and Warren was awesome. The Dave Mason tunes were killer too. I have the show and the sound is great.

I thank you for sending me your recording of the Merriweather show.

And the very nice note that went with it.

I have probably ordered at least half a dozen downloads and have never had an issue with the service, but your mileage may vary. The 10/7 Portsmouth show was great, but the only one I attended.

The sound on these are all great!

The only problem I have is over the artwork for downloaded shows, or should that be lack of artwork. I have sent numerous e-mails asking for the artwork to be put up on the site for both 2008 and 2009 shows. I had one reply asking me to send them a list of shows that I have purchased and they will forward on the artwork. I am still waiting, and have sent the same e-mail several time since and been given the same reply. Sorry but no more money is going Muncks way off my credit card until I get the artwork.

Used to be the Bros would let people plug into the soundboard. Gone are the good ol days.
