Are there any ABB fans from Motown on this forum??

If so, I would love to chat with you. If you are from anywhere in the metro area feel free to chime in.

Right here! Gov't Mule in 2 weeks!!!

Why no Detroit show for the 40th anniversary? They always come to Pine Knob. I would have loved to have seen them with Widespread Panic. I believe Panic is playing Royal Oak on November 24th, that will be my 1st Panic show, and it's been too long since I saw Jimmy with The Dead/Phil Lesh Quintet. I can't wait to see him in Panic.

That's the 2nd time that theMule show in this area has been brought to my attention tonight. Truth is, I haven't even thought of Mule since Woody died. He was so great, how could Mule have gone on without him?

The Brothers kept going after Duane and Berry passed. They would have wanted it that way, and I'm sure Woody would feel the same way. It's a nightly tribute to the ones that started it. Gov't Mule misses Woody ALOT, but they're still one of the best bands going today. Are they as good? No, in my opinion, but the new bass player, Jorgen Carlsson, brings some of that original Mule sound back.

I'm not sure Woody can ever be replaced.

They have gone on for over 9 years with out Woody.
Put out several albums including a brand new one, dvd's,played hundreds of live shows since Woody's passing.

Why would they have not gone on?
