This brings up a bad memory for me. Went to see him at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ and he was getting ready to play this song. He had technical trouble and didn't play it. THEN he played another song and walked off the stage after about an hour show. We all thought it was for a break. Everybody was saying "what just happened ?". Then house lights came on, gate opened and an announcement of no encore because of problems. There was still 45 minutes to curfew time at 10. The show up to that point was great.

Now the rest of the story. So I email LiveNation to complain. They offer me a refund or tickets to Black Crowes, I went for tickets to bring some friends since I already had mine. They told me to call, but not who to call. By time this was all done I gave up figuring out where to go next. Emailed to get a refund and never told how to do this.

Next, I went to the Black Crowes show. Really good show, sold out, etc. Stayed to watch indoor bands having a great time. Went over to box office to get cheap tickets somebody only available that night. Said they couldn't do it. Asked a bouncer for a manager. After ten minutes and no manager asked him again and he said he was going to thrown me out, so I backed down. Got a bartender to get me a manager and got my tickets. Talked to the manager about both nights problems. She took my name address, etc to get me a refund. Guess what no answer.

Now I see this great video. Guess I'll send off another email. Not that it will do me any good.

Saw him play this at Summerfest in Milwaukee 2 or 3 years ago - it was awesome.... made the guitar sing..... kind like Jeff Beck and A Day in the Life - you think you hear the lyrics......

Killer video. There's one of Frampton with Chris Cornell Doing Black Hole Sun too. Nice seeing older performers recognizing young talent. Much like Warren and Mule doing shows with Jerry Cantrell a few years back.

Same story for his Wesybury show. Techical problems that left us sitting for about an hour. Terrible show all in all even when he did play.. My son always felt cheated out of Humble Pie and thought this would be close .. heh no way is seeing Frampton anything like seeing Humble Pie. He was a fiasco. Never again
