With all that i have read about Duane and his guitars i only remember one SG/LP being mentioned and that was the one he Used/Borrowed/Bought from Dickey. Which i think(not sure) is in the RnR hall of fame?

P.S. the person that started this thread is a respected Player/Repair guy on that site so i didn't/don't want to cry foul and look foolish if i was wrong.

Maybe if somebody knew about it, there might be more replies.
If it was Duane's somebody with 1st hand knowledge will eventually catch wind of the thread and log on and give the scoop.
I'd be interested in what they had to say which if true is probably just what is on the LPF.
Nice detective work chasen.

It sounds like Duane had alot of guitars. He had a Les Paul Jr. that he pawned.Delaney Bramblett bought it and now Grahm Nash owns it. There was also a Gold Top Les Paul pictured on the cover of Vintage Guitar magazine some time back that was said to be Duane's.So I guess it is possible that he owned the SG ? Someone will dig into it and verify it.

Does Garham Nash have the LP Jr. as well as the SG that his wife bought him ? Duane's Layla Goldtop made an appearance in Derek's capable hands in Florida and Susan even mentioned that on stage.

Sorry but it's a wrong info. Current owner of Duane's Les Pual Jr. is Kunio Kishida, and he bought it directly from Delaney Bramlett.

The Gibson Les Paul Jr. was Duane's first electric guitar he owned.

I looked at the link. It is interesting to see an old LesPaul/SG repaired like that because the neck/body joint was designed weak on them. I have been wrong before, but doubt that was ever Duane's guitar. The "SG" that was Dickey's before it was Duane's, and is now Graham's is well documented. It was really only played by Duane in 1971 in the final months of his life. The guys on that forum don't seem to know much detail about Duane's life and guitars.
