I will certainly not be buying it, but amazingly Rolling Stone in a short review in the new issue (#1088, 10/1/09) gives it four stars!! It's called "Between My Head and The Sky" and features her son Sean. Last line of review: "At 76, her music remains truly vital: unsettling, touching, funny, undeniable."

My question would be this: "REMAINS truly vital"??? Meaning it was "vital" before?

No, I saw her live once in 1969, that fufilled my lifetime quota of listening to her...I like Lonoman's sig line"The scratches in Yoko Ono records are moments of relief"

"Anyone Rushing Out to Get Yoko Ono's New Record?" - No. I have a nice recording of a coyote ripping apart a prairie dog that works just as well.

Did any one see that Newsweek photo earlier this month?
It was a photo of Yoko, with a black and white floppy hat, sunglasses and a black top SHOWING CLEVAGE. Isnt it illegal to view clevage of a 74 year old?!

The best thing about CDs is being able to program out the Yoko tracks on "Double Fanstasy". That was the single best reason to buy a CD player in 1985.

I guess she's banking on the hard core Beatle-philes who buy every re-issue of the same material over and over. If sales of the latest batch are any indicator, she'll make a big bucket of yen! Won't have to spit it with Macca, either!

Among suggested uses for Yoko's new CD:

I am not interested in padding Yoko's bank account by getting the rematsters, but I disagree that this is the "same material over and over". Have you listened to them?
