I live near the Hard Rock and have been there many times. I will offer my advice and opinions to all who are interested.

Arriving: Driving south on 441 (state road 7), the place will be on the right. The best place to park is in the covered garage. Enter on Lucky Street, which will be the first lot on the right. Try to go to a higher floor so you can get a spot close to the elevators, which are near the middle of the lot. You will be at the end of the entertainment complex. You walk past the clubs and restaurants to get to the venue and the casino.

Drinking: There are plenty of places to drink here. If you are playing blackjack or slots, waitresses are available, but donít expect to get any free drinks. Three dollar Miller Light drafts are available from floor waitresses, but are not offered at any of the sit down bars.

There is a cool bar located in the center of the casino but the service and drink prices are discouraging. I would suggest going to the Hard Rock Cafť which is located inside the casino. They have a little known happy hour 4-7 PM, M-F. Drinks are half priced and there are some appetizer specials.

Eating: There are many places to eat here. Overall I have to say the restaurants are not that good. They also have a food court. There are only two places I would recommend.

Council Oak: This is an excellent restaurant, but it is very expensive. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion gourmet dinner.

Tatu: This is outside near the venue. Here you can get good asian food and good service.

All the other places are not that good. They have a barbecue place called Renegade that doesnít even serve hamburgers! Thereís also a Hooters and of course the Hard Rock Cafť.

Gambling: This is not a real casino. It is run by the Indians and is totally unregulated. They can set their slot payouts to any percentage at any time they want. The blackjack is a big rip-off. They use these machines that are 6 deck continuous shuffle card dispensers. It is nearly impossible to win at this game. There is no craps or roulette. Your best bet is to play baccarat or $5 slots in the high limit area.

I would love to say hello to y'all at the show, before or after.

Thanks for the info. I have only been there once. Sergio likes the Mexican
restaurant inside the complex. He has been there a couple of times.
He and Karen (my daughter) went to the Santana concert last year.

This place is like a city walk and you park in a parking garage. You canít tailgate in the parking garage. You can go back to your car discreetly and hang out for bit, but you should make it as quick as possible.

Last Friday they were using metal detectors at the city walk entrances. That is the first time I have ever seen that.

1)Ruthie and Sergio
2) Lou and Rita * Like to Smoke
3) Jordan * Palmhead and friends
4) Cindy and Rich * Yankweeds
5) Blueswade (Sue)
6) bomann and val from naples florida.
7)fabbybar and friends

Nice list so far....
