Thread-title takes it...fictitious Blue Oyster Cult band recording Don't Fear the Reaper featuring Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan. Ferrell's cowbell virtuosity upon insistence of Christopher Walken(Dickenson)...when Ferrell gets upset with Chris Katten and starts playing the cowbell directly into his ear immediately preceding a total band in-fighting meltdown...might just be fictitious rock-n-roll's finest hour.
