MY choice would be NO doubt Pinball wizard Warren would sing the F&^% K out of this song.

Actually it'd be cool for a JaBuMa to break into "Magic Bus" with Marc singing in Spanish. That'd take some balls!

two very different bands but I could see the ABB playing the hell out of Love Ain't For Keeping. An over looked track from Who's Next.

What was the Sonny Boy Williamson tune on the Tommy record?

I like Chris's idea better.

Behind Bue Eyes might work- with Gregg on vocals.

No new covers, new ABB songs only. It's been over six years already.

To me these 2 bands are so different ... hard one to answer. I'll throw out The Song is Over or Love Reign Over Me or a cover of a Who cover - Eddie Cochran's Summertime Blues.

None!

I love the Who but they are oranges to apples to the Allman Brothers Band. Two completely different animals IMO.

Something that allows a lot of space for soloing....
Emminence Front or Who Are You would work maybe.

Another Stones cover might work. They did "Heart of Stone" a few years back

They should try "Sympathy For The Devil" or "Under My Thumb"

I like the covers. Especially those selected because there's a Duane connection through his session work or songs that go way way back (old blues tunes). And although i love the Who and Stones they are both examples of bands the ABB should not cover. "Heart Of Stone" was done really well but leave it at that. Don't turn the ABB into a juxebox. Gov't Mule is a different story. They can cover bands like that.

Yes indeed ... I agree wholeheartedly with Roger ... what I would like to see is for them to bring back an old cover they used to do back in the Duane era ... "Outskirts Of Town" ...
