dTb in Toronto. Got to hear Susan with the band and loved the slide guests.
Saw Devon Allman {London, Ontario} for the first time. Enjoyed the band, the music and Devon's energy, joy and smiles.

ABB in Hartford, 8/30/09. They were on fire that night. Better than
the Saratoga ABB show I saw on Aug. 18 (which was a solid show but
no where near the energy the ABB put out at Hartford).

Special shout-out for the Jaimoe's Jassz Band show I saw in
West Springfield on June 20. That was one great night of music!!!

I saw 3 concerts this summer:

June 23 - Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood
July 11 - Keith Urban/Jason Aldean
August 19 - Paul McCartney/The Script

I enjoyed all of the shows, but it was my first time seeing Paul McCartney & it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. It was a treat to hear all of those great beatles songs in concert, along with his solo work. Helter Skelter, Drive My Car, Hey Jude, Band On The Run, Blackbird, It's So Easy, etc. were just a few highlights at the show. I've got 2 shows coming up that I'm seeing. Creed on Sept. 22, & THE ALLMANS/Widespread Panic on Oct. 16

Didn't get to many shows this year, but Derek Trucks at the Metro blues Festival in San Jose tops my list.

Got the re-formed Mott The Hoople at Hammersmith Apollo 3 weeks tomorrow which I am really excited about.

Wow. I believe this may be the first summer in awhile without shows ... busy elsewhere the past few months. I think the last one for me was ABB at the Beacon (with EC and it was MOST excellent ) and I've got 3 in the next 3 weeks - Dave Mason, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Franti - so I guess it will be tail-end of summer for me.

I wish I could've been at some of the Beacon concerts this year, especially the ones with Clapton. I watched some online & Clapton was awesome, especially on Elizabeth Reed.

The third day of Mountain Jam was also off the hook with a lineup of Richie Havens, DTB, Michael Franti, and the ABB.
