WTF? Why would MSNBC be replaying this tragic event in real time? This seems very disrespectful to the families that lost loved ones in this tradgedy.

WoW! If this isn't fear mongering, I don't know what is.

Absolutely horrible.

Way to go CFR. Mission accomplished!

I'm sure the other 9 people watching MSNBC share the outrage.

I can't imagine that most networks are not showing a good bit of 9/11 coverage too. I don't see what the big deal about it is.

I'm sure the date on the calendar itself is enough to dredge up all sorts of awful memories for the families. They certainly know not to turn on the TV today if they don't want to be further reminded.

The CFR networks ratings are quite low. I do like to watch the propaganda machine in motion. Just to keep up on what they are up to. Obviously fear mongering is what they had in order today.

Fox is just as complicit as is NBC. Just like Bush is just as complicit as Obama. They are all on the same team. Good cop, bad cop. You guys fall for the same old game everytime.

You can't destroy a democracy overnight, it takes time, and a divided country.

The only reason I posted the Fox deal was because you are insinuating that MSNBC is the only ones doing it.

You certainly put alot of effort into being divided from other people yourself.

I would love to meet in the middle. It is brilliant how the left blames bush and the right blames Obama, and nothing gets done. Until we come to the conclusion that the politicians are the problem, and vote them all out. Nothing will change. As long as the left keeps drinking the koolaid from NBC, CBS, and ABC and the right drinks the koolaid from Fox, the hate wars will continue. This Plutocracy must end. I am surprised people are so easily swayed one way or the other. When are we going to unite as one and put an end to the hatred? Somebody better figure it out before it is too late for everyone.

The entire Bush administration 'celebrated' the day with endless showings of the tragedy on the anniversary of the event. And I remember the first anniversary they played the events in real time.....maybe for the next but I can't recall. It got to where that date rolled around and we wondered what they'd do next to make political hay off of the events that day. I don't recall a single right winger ever saying a word. Now all of a sudden they've got some sense of 'decency'? Gimme a break!

They should replay the whole thing in its entirety every year forever. That way we can remember what happened, how awful it was and realize that we cannot allow it to happen again.

No matter how much money we spend, how many lies we tell, how many countries we invade, how many people we kill, and how many civil rights we trample, on, right?

The whole idea that we "cannot allow it to happen again" is ridiculous. You could spend an eternity and a fortune, and not stop someone from doing what they want to do. Instead of reveling in fear and what might happen, why not work for a better future for everyone, and let the chips fall where they may?

In stead of useless maudlin rememberance by people who weren't personally affected by 9/11 how about people start taking responsibility for their own safety. I don't see how darn safe we are with our national guard somewhere else and our military stretched thin.

Tobacco companies kill more people every year than died on 9/11. Why not never let that happen again?

Probably because there isn't footage that can be replayed over and over while people make political capital on the event. Am I cynical? Yes....I've been about 9/11'd enough. Time to get on with doing something constructive about it.

I remember being on a message board I used to frequent, and it was really bizarre that day how people all political persuasions and even different countries were united that day and really in the few weeks to come.

I guess what I'm trying to say, is that it was kind of a cool thing to see everybody put their politics aside and say "yeah motherf*$kers - we're still ALL Americans"....

Sure didn't take Bush long to squander all that support and good will from different countries by attacking an uninvolved third party

All 9/11 did was allow them to pass the Patriot Act I and II and the FISA Bill which have all eroded our rights. Funny how today it is now harder to get out of the United States then it is to get in? Our borders are a siv and we have not been attacked? Do you attribute this to what has been done since 9-11? They can pinpoint my address on my mailbox from a satellite, but we can't find some guy hiding in a cave? Just as with Bush it is the same with Obama. Everything is an emergency and it must be done now! I am not buying it anymore. There are no emergencies. We must take the time and get it right. No more jamming this crap down our throats in the guise of an "emergency".

That feeling that we are all "Americans" since 9-11 has disappeared for hard core political rhetoric from the left and from the right. The divide must be erased and somehow we must all remember the feelings we had on 9-12, that is the only we are going to find some common ground and make America great once again.
