I saw the band also in '95 here in the Bay area and that show sticks in my mind as much as any other ABB show I EVER saw. The Haynes/Woody lineup in it's PRIME.........just a smoking goddamn show!! They were not mixing a whole lot of jazz into the mix on that tour, just IN YOUR FACE rock 'n' roll basically. I remember a lot of tunes from jszfunk's setlist, though not all.

While I enjoyed the hell out of Deer Creek '95, the night before in Columbus was the mind-blower! That night had a "Liz Reed" that must rank in the top three all-time. I have two separate recordings of that night on tape and they are both pretty mediocre quality but the Liz Reed is in excess of 45 minutes and hits on "Third Stone", "St. Stephen" and "Les Brers"!

1995 is the only year I have not seen the Allman Brothers Band since 1990. If I had known Warren & Woody were going to split before they got back to Atlanta in 1997, I would have made sure to see them more. Can't take anything for granted.

I did jump back on the train in 1996 and a wonderful True Gravity sticks out from that night. That 1995 setlist is great - 17 songs.

Summer & Fall of '95 & Spring of '96 are my favorite shows of the DB/WH/AW line-up! Whenever I want a taste of Dickey-Warren-Woody it's usually from this time frame! the Greenville SC 05-01-96 never strays far from the player!
