I missed about 45 minutes of Panics set but they where pretty good. The Allman Brothers where even better. Midnight Rider, Dreams, Statesborough Blues, Mountain Jam, One Way Out, and Dont Want Me No More. When they came out they didn't play for like 5 minutes and my uncle sarcastically said "these guys are great". 10 minutes later during its not my cross to bear he said and sounded very serious "these guys are awesome and kinda bluesy. He got real happy when they played Dazed and Confused during Mountain Jam because he is a huge Zeppelin fan. After the show he said out of all the concerts we have been they these guys where the best. Everyone was blown away, me and my uncle and dad and brother. I also was dead center under the roof. Dreams and Midnight Rider where the best to me. Whipping Post was unbelievable. And the rain cleared up.

10/10, this wont be the last time i see them for sure.

I was hoping you'd post after your first ABB show! Nice to hear all 4 of you were "blown away." I know that feeling

Well that's it now !!! You're stuck with it , and it's apparently incurble. The Road goes on Forever and you can't get enough. I said to myself only 1 Beacon show this year , but then I gave into the 40th Anniversary "For A Brother" and wound going to 3 including finding myself desperatly looking for anyone with extra tickets to the offical 40th on 3-26 and finding a fellow peachhead on the ticket exchange just looking for face $$$ for a pair. Told myself "No Shed shows this summer , you'll see the ABB at Mountain Jam" but lady luck got me good seats at Jones Beach with a Favorite 2nd band in Widespread Panic and my brothers birthday is a week earlier and he lives 10 minutes from Jones Beach , so I figure one show at the sheds isn't ridiculous ........ but then Lady Luck smiles again and I pull a 6th row single seat @ PNC in the pre sale and PNC is less than an 30 minutes from my home and again it is easy to convince myself and that's 6 now and I'm sure that's enough.............but what if they play another run at the legendary Fox in Atlanta this fall , I hear Georgia is beautiful in the fall....................Be Warned !!! This could turn out to be you too !!!!!

Thats how it was for me and the Black Crowes. I got into them a little bit in late april. A week later i got tickets. The show was great but at first i was more into the hits than anything else so i was disappointed a little bit. In October i won tickets but the people from jambase never sent them so i bought some and they where second row Rich's side. and by that time i heard more songs so i was even more hooked. I was BLOWN away and to top it off i wrote to jam base and i got my money back. Actually the guy from the record company of Howlin Rain sent me the check but its all good. I saw them a third time in June and i was even more hooked. Its going to be the same with the ABB now for sure. One of the best shows i've seen, if not the best.

Glad you enjoyed a great show, and from what I have seen and heard you got a good one for your first Brothers show.

I have seen them live since 73, but I am excited for Red Rocks this Saturday. I will walk out Blown Away...they never seem to disappoint....still the best band in the land to me.

Amazing , was in my teens in 73, I'm 50 for saturdays show, music for a lifetime....

I've seen Aerosmith twice, Alice Cooper, Skynyrd, Foo Fighters, The Black Crowes three times, Smashing Pumpkins, Buddy Guy, Kid Rock and Guns N Roses, just to name a few. All of them where great and i loved them all but the talent of both Panic and the Brothers is just unreal. I thought it was going to be a Warren night, then a Derek night. It was both. Greg sounded great, better than i thought he would. I cant wait to see them again.

Glad to hear you had a great show, Joe. Can't beat ABB and with WSP, also - embarrassment of riches!

Glad you found the ABB! I was 14 when I discovered them, and that was a looong time ago.

I especially like the fact that the sarcastic uncle got his ears pinned back!

Spot on!

Hi, my name is Dorothyann and I am addicted to all things Allman Brothers. I will justify, plot, scheme, get the money for tickets somehow, and take off work for an ABB show (or party for that matter). Welcome to our world - go grab a cup o joe....
