He cleans up nicely, looks great in this photo.
If I were him {which I am OBVIOUSLY NOT} I would live in some secluded hilll side in California, sit around and pluck my guitar, gaze out the window and just keep out of the public eye as he sort of has.
Nothing wrong with that. ____________________ You want to talk to me

Gregg used to say Elijah was his clone.
I saw a video from last year and his short hair was dark brown
and he had a clean cut look and sang a song that was not the typical for him.
I think he has a new band. Maybe. ____________________

I only know what I've read. The Rolling Stone reporter said four sons and two
daughters. This is what I have read.
three sons: Michael, Devon and Elijah
three daughters: Deena, Island, Layla
I don't claim to be completely accurate, so feel free to correct my list.

Springer, Michael has a CD out Sept. 1 and I've heard most of it.
It is really good. I've seen him live and he can sing with expression
and heartbreak.
I don't think an Allman child's worth is determined by the success of their music career.
Michael is a sweet man with a good heart. I know him personally. He has certainly
had his share of problems, including a battle with cancer. He worked in construction for a number of years. He has talent and I hope he makes it with this CD.
Springer, I have a lot of respect and love for you, but that comment doesn't seem fair.

WBD, don't pay him any mind. He's just doing his usual late at night drive by posting to stir up some $hit, which he is very good at. ____________________

Sorry to upset you Ruthie, but I call it as I hear it. Everything I've heard tells me that Devon is the only talented offspring of Gregg. He can sing, play and write music. I've met him and he's humble and down to earth.
The stuff I've heard from his siblings is unimpressive and seems like a stretch at using a famous name as a shortcut to success.
Micheal's past problems don't give him a free pass at making it in the music world.I'm quite sure he's a sweet man but I disagree on his talent.
I worked construction too and the only thing it made me was a former construction worker.
BTW I don't think an Allman's child's worth is determined by the success of their music career either. The world needs plenty of construction workers. There is honor in that too.
Then perhaps you shouldn't have said only one of the children is "worth more than a pisshole in the Denver snow". |
