The rain from the hurricane and tons of wind. Go to this website and check out the weather www.thebostonchannel.com. I'm pissed, if this is the case. I got tickets in I think March, even if they don't cancel i'm not sure if we can go, Boston to mansfield is an hour-2 hours depending on traffic. Just thought I would share this.

peace

They have never canceled shows before. They are always rain or shine but Hurricane?? Hard to say. If Danny stays on projected path, we are looking at 3 to 6 inches of rain on Sat with at least 50mph wind gusts.

I'd call up the Comcast center too but its all computerized. Torrential downpour and 50mph wind. If they cancel they better not reschedule it for September 15th, i got ZZ Top that night and i not missing that for anyone.

They played at Raleigh in early September 1999 (wow--ten year ago already??) in a hurricane. I couldn't believe at the time that the show would go on, but it did!

This is New England.
The forecast will change at least 20 times between now and Saturday, so I'm not gonna worry to much about it yet.
Lets hope it stays off shore and all we get is lots of rain and some wind.

I seriously doubt the show will be cancelled.

The hurricane will brush the coast, not a big deal.

If you have lawn seats you may get rained on.

No big deal.

I think the media is making a big thing about something that might not even happen. They have no idea where this storm will go.

I am not worried about cancellation, but more hoping they don't lose power.

Positive vibes, peeps!

Latest forecast has the projected hurricane path about 50 miles off shore of the cape but still expecting heavy rain (localized flooding) and strong winds for all of New England. Maybe they'll play "Stormy Monday" or "Hell or High Water" for y'all. Should have gone to Meadowbrook Monday night - weather was fine - show was great!
Have fun and stay safe!
Peace - Rob

Right now they are saying heavy rain and wind during the day, but it is saying only 23 mph wind. No biggy.

The forecast for night is showers and 11 mph winds. We can handle that.

I am glad to have seats under the roof.

It was almost snowing at Red Rocks in 06......

I am hoping the storm turns east and misses you guys all together...I like Lex's idea.....go out side and blow east... the butterfly effect!

Latest forcast is for the worst Sat. morning, less rain and wind as the afternoon and evening goes on.

It's definately gonna rain.

There should be no big problems.

No need to worry unless the storm gives a direct hit, very unlikely at this point.

A few years back at Red Rocks it was frigid and raining sideways to the extent that they had to construct a plastic bubble around Gregg to keep him dry. That was one of the more challenging environments I have experienced in 30 years of concerts. Makes me think Mansfield will happen.

That Block Island show did portend bad tidings. Maybe Mansfield will be the charm to end it.

It's going to be wet and windy for the tailgate but we should be in the clear rain wise for the show! Matt usually gets pretty close for these forecasts, better than most of the local prognosticators.
