Will Panic play first each night with ABB following up. I have heard that both bands will play for approximately 2 hours each. Can anyone confirm this is the plan for the tour?

Look on the HTW home page. They have who is opening and closing each show. The ABB do not close every night. Thankfully they are closing the two shows I'm going to later this week.

I know I am slow but I am completely confused. I see the menu and I see HTW home. When I click on that it takes me to the Peach Corp page. The homepage of this site shows the tour dates but I am missing how the lineup will be set. I am looking to find out the set up for the Birmingham and Raleigh dates. Sorry to be a pest.

You're right chowbone...it just says on tour with Widespread Panic fir those shows. It doesn't say who opens.

It varies with the venue (or in the case of Chicago's 2 shows, WSP opens one night and ABB the other). If you look at the way tix are being sold on Ticketmaster you can kind of get an idea. Looks like it's either WSP with (which would indicate ABB opening) or ABB with (which would indicate WSP opening). Looks to me like ABB opens Birmingham and WSP opens Raleigh.

I saw them last night and it doesnt really matter who opens, it was a Widespread Brothers Band concert, lol!

1/2 way thru WP allman bros personel would wander in, the 1/2 way through ABB WP people wandered in.

The set started w/ Les Brears which was super cool - 2nd show I saw begin w/ that, love it! after a few Greg came out with his acoustic guitar.

it was a real mixed bag of a show. there was a van morrison-it stoned me? / oh the water, cover which was nice, black hearted woman, statesborough blues encore, aint wasting time no more,(greg either forgot or chose not to sing the pouring rain line-even tho or maybe cause therewas a threat of rain @ partial outdoor seating venue) a couple of songs I just didnt know, a real slow one that slipped into serious jam then back into the slow end?, Elizabeth reed would have been great but the main solo was performed by WP guitarist-he was good but I wanted to see derek do it darn it, overall it was nice to see and am glad the band is going strong and keeping creative and new as they keep on keeping on, but it was different to see so much different than anticipated. I will have to get a copy of the show, the instant live line was so long I left w/o it, doh!

They had it on the homepage, which band closed, but it isn't on there anymore. Most of the shows had the ABB closing. I know Great Woods and Hartford next weekend were both listed as ABB closing. Maybe they are changing it?

Sure wish I was catching these 2 bands together this year. And I wouldn't care who opened or closed. IMO this is a perfect pairing.
