Ditto that! I love Susan's voice on that song. An awesome collaboration from Derek and Warren.

The CD was somewhat of a disappointment to me on first listen, it seemed to lack the fire and grit of "Songlines". So, I chose one of the best places known to man to "re-listen"... the road.... Living in San Diego, the drive north to Santa Barbara has only one real drawback. Los Angeles. Once through that mess the road opens up to Ocean vistas and rolling hills. I was on my way to the Lobero theater to see the dtb and "Already free" was going to get a workout. First though was a weekend in the Santa Ynez wine country (Sideways) just up the mountain from Santa Barbara, curvy roads, wineries..just the place to familiarize yourself with a new CD. So, all weekend long this CD played most of the time, it is now forever etched in my mind as music/life for that particular wine region...

I love it. Give us more.

"Our Love"...has a fantastic melody line. Love this song.

You know our love is crazy
Crazy is beautiful
I know our love is crazy
No where I'd rather be

"Sweet inspiration" is probably my favorite. Being a big fan of "Soul Stew Revival" this is an absolute pleasure. Sort of a tip of the hat to we SSR fans who would still like to hear and see an official release.

I awoke this morning singing "Sweet Inspiration", so I guess that would be it. The whole disc gets better with each liste.

I think this is one of those magical albums that everytime you listen to it; it is for the first time! I really mean that, what a great album.

'Bridge Of Sighs' was like that in my youth and even now.

Swamp Raga if you allow a pick from the expanded release. Otherwise, Down In The Flood.

Down in the Flood. For me, it's the best song he's done in the studio so far. Arranged and performed perfectly, with wonderful solos.

Sweet Inspiration gets played a lot, too. Just a really fun song to listen to.

"Get What You Deserve" I was cranking the version off of the Live EP all weekend. Love the great energy in this one. This will be a great "Rip It UP" ski tune for this upcoming Ski season too. I do like "Sweet Inspiration" also. I've got a great memory of that one while partaking with some friends as dTb played that one at Mountain Jam this year.

I love "Already Free", I guess because of its simplicity and also it speaks to me.

Get what you deserve.

Maybe this time. Love that, love Doyle's vocals.

Down in the Flood, Down don't Bother Me.

Overall, one of the best albums I have listened to in many years.
