10.31.09 - THE TOWER THEATRE IN PHILADELPHIA, PA

Gov't Mule returns to one of its favorite venues - The Tower Theatre in Upper Darby (Philadelphia), PA on Saturday October 31st. Following in the tradition of 2007's "Holy Haunted House" and last year's Pink Floyd spectacular, the band, once again, has something very special planned for the occasion. Pre-Sale Tickets will be available through Mule Ticketing on Tuesday August 18th @ Noon Eastern. We will also be offering you the opportunity to purchase the show poster for what will be a memorable night of music with your pre-order tickets.

Based on the advertisement in the email that I received, could it be a Rolling Stones theme.

Does resemble an old familiar logo...

Warren has said Frank Zappa was an influence.

Frank's Halloween shows were legendary.

Coincidence?

Discuss.

Cool. I'll be there for sure.

Stones. I hope they aren't just sticking to one album. Sticky Fingers is the first time the tongue logo was used. Some great songs on that one but they have so many great ones that I hope it's not just limited to that album. (Brown Sugar will be cool though.)

I still have a copy of the album with the zipper. It still works. I am sure it wasn't a first print though. But it is still in good condition.

I'll be there for my first Muleaween show. Already booked a room. Just like the NYE shows, the Halloween shows are always special and it looks like the Stones this year which should be awesome!!!

CRAP! If only I could be at 2 places at one time.

I just bought Pearl Jam Halloween tickets yesterday, they are playing the Specturm's very LAST CONCERT that night in Philly.

Philly has not been treated to a great Halloween show in a loooong time so I jumped quickly on the Pearl Jam opportunity.

Looks like Philly is gretting TREATED on Halloween this year!!!!!

On the plus side, I am not a big stones fan to begin with.......

It would have been cool if they would have done a David Bowie show b/c he has a live album that was recorded there.

Mothers Little Helper (tease)
Lets Spend The Night Together
Sympathy For The Devil
Play With Fire
Wild Horses
Gimme Shelter (tease)

Isn't Left Coast Groovies sort of an ode to Zappa?
