Headline: Greed Sanctioned under Bush Laid at Obama's Door. Heck, wasn't the second world war Obama's fault too....in retrospect of course?

I guess Obama must have been thinking about running for president in those years. That would definitely lay the blame at his doorstep.

Must have been a slow news day or no new YouTube's of a conspiratory nature so the strawman is grasping. Really jpb ... 'GE cooks books, ties to Obama regime'?!?!?!?!? LOL... this is why it's hard to take anything you post seriously.

What I don't get is the the GE bailout kicked off last Nov. 12th under Bush's Tarp deal. The Obama administration inherited TARP from the Bush administration.

GE cooks books, ties to Obama regime

JPB propaganda machine. Need an over-sight committee just for Jerry.

All this really does is show JPB to be dishonest in his representation of the 'facts' of the matter. No surprise there. When you dont have anything you can blame Obama for, make something up.

Obama inherited TARP from Bush? Didn't TARP receive pretty overwhelming support from his own party?

As an ex GE employee of 23 years I am certain this practice was initiated by Jack Welch dates back to the Reagan administration. The stock split 5 times during the 23 years I worked there from 83-06. Jack was always a step ahead of everyone else except his second wife who took him to the cleaners. Man am I ever glad I got all my money out of their 401K 2 years ago.

Yes, but he still inherited it as President. Or do you see it differently?

Yes, he still inherited it as President. I questioned who he inherited it from. He was on board every step of the way and voted in favor of it, as did his own party. They "inherited" a lot of their own work.

GE owns Newsweek, NBC and MSNBC, house organs of the BarryO regime all. Hanky-panky between GE and the BarryO regime is a foregone conclusion.

Nope, but ten minutes spent watching NBC News or MSNBC or reading Newsweek will convince all but the most liberally brainwashed.

So that makes it a "tie to the Obama regime"? BS. He inherited it. Period. Your attempts to lay everything at Obama's feet are lame.

Obama and the Democrats, always just innocent bystanders. Is that what you're saying? I don't remember anybody objecting, just voting right along with it. But, still everything is somebody else's fault. Why am I not surprised.

Here is an article written before Obama took office. Looks like Bush had TARP first.

I didn't notice any objection from the Left at the time. None. Some from the Right, but the Dems supported it overwhelmingly. Just check the vote totals.
