Alwar was right, it's time for a roll-call For those who were not aware, this is a free show at the Damrosch Park Bandshell of Lincoln Center. It's a seated outdoor venue, no tickets needed, seating is first-come first serve, show starts at 6.

I think the entrance is on West 68nd Street, between Amsterdam and Broadway. Openers are Snehasish Mozumder & Som, and Jake Shimabukuro. Anyone with more information, or suggestions for pre-show gathering, please post. For survivors of the free Hard Rock show last year, there is no free beer or food, illness will be bringing the high-heeled office girls, Susan is out of town.

Count me in.
If anyone can pronounce the opening acts correctly, you're better than me.
We could possibly meet somewhere near the entrance & find out more about when we can actually claim seating and take it from there. I'm pretty open.

2. alwar (most likely solo)

We will be there. Hopefully nice and early but not sure yet. Do you plan on heading in @ 6:00 and getting your seats. I can't see us making it that early. DTB is the last band to perform. I would figure by 8-9 or so. We will likely shoot for a 7-7:30 entry into the venue by the time everybody get off work and we get some drinks in us.

If we feel like walking there is always the former West Side Brew pub (I think called the Amsterdam House now) on 76th and Amsterdam. There is a PJ Clarks on 44 W 63rd St. There are a few places around there. It is obviously real close to the Beacon.

1. absnj & possible mystery guest
2. alwar (most likely solo)
3. bandobrocks, Bluesky88, my wife, and sister-in-law (possibly others) also possibly Charlie-O.

This link states the show is from 6:00 to 8:00. Doesn't sound right to me with three acts. Can anyone confirm this?

The "early birds" may be getting there some time in the late afternoon to scope out the situation for seats.

Tell them it's gonna be hot so they won't overdress. But I would prefer you bring Susan.

And who's bringing the beers and brats?

I'll be working until 6, so I guess good seats aren't in my future, but I'll be there, possibly with a friend or two.

Notice how they cut the photo off at the bottom, so you cannot see how short their skirts are.

Hope the rain takes a hike later on.

Looks like Damrosch is on 62nd and Amst. as opposed to 68th. I heard DTB will go on at 8pm if that helps. I'm thinking PJ Clarke's beforehand.
