Well, I just got back from Puerto Rico just a few days ago on thursday. We all had alot of fun there. We got there on Sunday at about 8 & it was already dark outside since they don't have daylight savings time. We drove for about a half hour to get to the resort. We didn't do too much on that day since it was late, but we did go into the casino for a couple hours. I won some & lost some, but not alot. Then on monday morning, we had breakfast at Marbella, a restaurant in the resort. It was good, but expensive. About $70 for the buffet. We just hung out at the resort the first day. We hung out on the beach, swam in the pool, & we also took some wave runners out & rode them. That was alot of fun & my first time doing that. Hope I can ride those again sometime. Afterwards, we ate at some restaurant down the road from the resort. I think it's called Antidos, something like that. They serve alot of seafood, etc. I had the chicken filet with garlic sauce & rice. It was pretty good, but nothing special. We didn't have a chance to get bread from the bakery nearby, which I've heard has some of the best bread. On tuesday, we got up, got some food from the coffee shop near the casino, then sat on the beach for a while. Then, we freshened up, changed clothes, & drove into Old San Juan, where we spent half the day sightseeing, etc. We visited Fort San Christobal, which was really amazing to see. Hard to believe it's been there since the 1500s. We got some great pics in Old San Juan, & we walked around lot. We went into the stores there & saw some cool stuff, but I didn't buy too much there. We ate at a place called Senor Frogs, which was ok, not great. I ate beef fajitas, which was ok, but they weren't on a sizzling pan, which is how I like to eat them. The next day, we got up really early at about 7am to get ready to head to the marina in San Juan, where we got on a Catamaran which took us to a deserted island to go swimming & do some snorkeling as well. It's hard to believe how the clear that water was. It was I guess 30 ft. deep, but you can still see the bottom & see the fish, which was really pretty. They even served free food & drinks on the boat, which was nice. Rum is definitely the popular drink in Puerto Rico. But, I just stuck to fruit punch on the boat. After a full day of snorkeling, etc. We headed back to the resort & swam in the ocean a bit more since it was our last there. Then we ate supper in marbella, which was expensive, but not really worth it. I had a burger, which was good but could've been better. Then, we got up early thursday morning, headed to the airport, & got back home about 5 hours later. So, all in all, I had a great time, but just wish we could've stayed a few more days. My brother planned on going Parasailing, but we just didn't have the time for that, or a tour of the rainforest, which would've been awesome.

Sounds like fun and hoping to see some pictures shared here! PR on my wish-list ... I worked a large project for a company there and kept hoping for a trip to that island for 'business' but their people kept travelling up here instead so that never happened. One day...
