Man, I have the world's worst cassette of this show from the radio broadcast and i've never seen it anywhere else. I bought the tape at a record show in Allentown, PA back around 1989 or 90. I was able to tweak it a little with my portastudio, but the left channel is all but non-existant. The vault is missing quite a few tracks but it will be great to hear good versions of what they do have. thanks for posting this. I love this show and can't stand to listen to it!

There's no review of the show on WGV, but I did hear Dickey introduce Donny Johnson as guest harmony vocalist on Bougainvillea. I have to say....he was a bit off, but musically this show is cookin'!

Never tire of hearing different versions of Liz Reed. Ever notice the different tempos & arrangements this song has taken? This a good version. It's nice to hear these old shows and the raw and natural sound of the recordings.

I have a playlist on my iPod with about 10 different (sometimes very different) versions of the song. It's always a treat to hear the variations back to back. I mix it up with Duane era to 70's Great Southern, ABB with Toler, Dickey Betts Band with Warren, ABB reformed, ABB sans Dickey and 00's Great Southern, and all points in between. I particularly like the version with Chuck Leavell.
