So far Ive listened to Electric Dirt which is a great album and Wilco (the album) which is also very good. Grabbed Moondance because it was 7.99 couldnt pass it up although it was a tough call wither that or Houses of the Holy but I went with the one that will get more listens. Also like to pick up one classic every time I go

What CDs or Albums have u picked up lately.

Van Morrison "Moondance" is one of my favorite albums I ever came across. You got a great deal with that one included alone. Great find!

After wrestling with some buying-cheap-stuff-at-a-megastore guilt, I broke down & got Heart's "Dog and Butterfly" (remaster w/bonus tracks) and Ozzy's "Just Say Ozzy" (the mid-90's remaster -- NOT the latest reissues where they replaced the Daisley/Kerslake bass & drum tracks so that Oz could avoid paying them royalties! Blasphemy!) for $5 each! @ Wal-Mart. They actually had a decent amount of stuff for $5-7, as well as the Janis set "Box of Pearls" for $20.

Also digging a new-ish band called In This Moment -- melodic metal, I guess you could say, with female vocalist (in the same vein as Evanescence, but NOT sound-alikes). And yes- I admit it - the hot lead singer was what originally caught my attention. I know darn well that it's unfair & whatever else you want to call it, but attractive female musicians get me every time. But the band is actually really good, if you're into that style/genre. Found their debut "Beautiful Tragedy" for 50% off at a Borders clearance sale, then found their latest "The Dream" for $6 in a local used bin. (Notice a pattern?)

I'm glad I found vining, 'cuz lack of $ leads to lack of new tunes!

As a related aside, does anyone know the best place(s) to find good deals on cd's & dvd's online? I try to troll Amazon, Ebay, & a few other sites for stuff but it's time consuming & kind of a crap-shoot. Just wondering if there are any better/easier places or ways to price check items I'm looking for.

Thanks!

Recently received 6 instant live shows from the Black Crowes (2005-2006) from the
$ 5,00 sale at live nation /music today and yesterday bought a 2cd anthology (Rhino) of
Dr. John.
