these shots were in a fire area that is showing regrowth, nature comes back......




Green weenie in May, before burying to the axles in mud later that day.



Forest fire thru here a few years ago, fire jumped this river

I went to the doctor for that once.

He said that's what color it turns if your not careful.

Yes, Ram Air 455, getting a 12 bolt rear in a couple weeks, the ugly part goes away last, someday.....

hey bird,
those are beautiful pictures....one of favorite memories is the summer of 1971....
we (my best friends and two "girl friends") spent about 3weeks in August camping in
Glacier National Park (in Great Falls)......i think back then then montana was known as
"gods country".....but i heard that it's now called "birdland"....
all the best amigo!!

i loved Montana when I was there last in 05, lived in Idaho in 85, would vist western Montana back then.................need a caretaker gig on someones property in 4 years

Them thar white hills in those shots IS Glacier National Park, my friend, I was up on the North Fork Rd that parallels the Parks west boundary along the Flathead River. All the shots show burned trees, in what amazed me, still surviving trees, in some areas. Others was total burn. In the Park, the policy is let it burn, so once the fire jumped the river, they let it rip. 200 foot high wall of flames dancing across a river, how is that for an image?

Neil, parts of Idaho are awesome, tater country is a flat dustbowl, haha......... with stinky feed lots....

Nice pics Tony. Montana is my Fav. state, back-packed in Glacier Park (crown jewel of the Rockies) on 3-different occasions back in the 70's. Haven't been back since 78'...
I would love to take my boys there, and then north to Banff and Jasper.

Have to testify for some of those awesome Idaho parts ... the Northwest Passage (highway 12) and North Central area of Idaho, and the Clearwater River, are some of the most beautiful places I've been in the US.
