Jackson Browne, who wrote this fine song(later beautifully interpreted by Gregg) is my wife's favorite & obviously i kinda dig Gregg--so,when we met many moons ago this & the ABB were a huge part of our musical & spiritual connection...& we figured if Gregg & Jackson were roomies, why not us....so,enjoy this version:

My wife is a huge Jackson Browne fan. In fact, it turns out we were at the same concert many, many moons ago.

She isn't a Gregg fan but when she heard him play These Days, she liked it. Of course I told her JB stole it from Gregg. I think she still believes it. Girls.....

awesome video ~ almost chilling ~ thanks for sharing! it's a great song no matter if JB or GA does it...although I'm partial to Gregg's beautiful voice!

Lovely to listen to this rainy afternoon. Thank you.

David Lindley makes me think of Ry Cooder and

"How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times And Live".. written by Blind Alfred Reed about hard times during the last Great Depression:

Wonderful, wonderful version of this song ... Lindley really brings a lot to this performance - sounds meant-to-be. Thanks for sharing this, Effie! I, like your wife, am a long time JB fan.

That was very kewl. Of course I started pluckin' all the other 'versions' off of YT. Hadn't seen the Gregg & Graham Nash version in years....that was very good as well altho' the quality has taken a hit.

That was very, very nice. But Gregg's version on Laid Back is still my favorite.
