Here's to it..

I saw my first ABB show in 1989, so it's a very special year to me also...I have not missed a year yet of ABB shows in 20 years.

ROCK ON, WARREN!!!!!

I have been a fan of Warren every since I heard him with the ABB :
Love his solo CD and his work with the Mule.

The man is amazing, never seen anyone who can do great cover songs like he does...along with his own great music.

He's a treasure for his fans.

Congrats to Warren on 20+ years as " A Brother". First time I saw the band with Warren & Woody, Greenville Sc circa 1991 - was a jaw dropping wonderful experience. I have seen all versions of this "best Damn Band in the Land" and sadly the late 70's early 80's just paled in comparson to the real thing! 69-74/75! I admit I went to the show not expecting much, but happy to know they were giving it another try! When Warren took the slide solo in Statesboro to open that '91 show the four of us who made the drive together just looked at each other and smiled. then a song or so later they tore into Blue sky and I looked at my friend next to me and said they are "BACK!" IMHO we have Warren to thank for being the glue that's kept this train rolling thru the last 20 years of turmoil and wonderful performances! When the Allman Brothers Band is on stage engaged in Ensemble playing, there is NO band that even comes close!

I am first a foremost a Warren Haynes fan. The fact that I have seen him play with the Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule, Phil And Friends, The Other Ones, The Dead and sit ins with different opening acts and everyone kind enough with their time to play at the last two X-Mas Jams are all plusses for me.

Congratulations on your 20 years with the Allman Brothers Band Warren.

Oh I forgot to mention his solo work too.

I'd like to hear Warren cover "Tainted Love." I think he would kill it. Can't you just hear him growling "Well I'm sorry I don't pray that way."?

Congrats!

Hmmm I can't seem to find my original thread anymore (of the same topic), the one that led to the unintentionally contentious debate. Well no worries, this thread will do fine.

LMAO! Yes! That would be hilarious! He could pull it off, too. I can picture Danny getting into the first three notes... "Dee doo doo..." Good stuff right there....

Yeah, my wife and I are always doing that; “imagine if Warren did a cover of this song”. You know it’s not going to be a copy cat or boring cover. You will be getting a treat. This is one of the things we really like about Warren; there is no “B” game with him.

I am a little confused about the thread change. Rotting Peach wrote a very nice sentiment which should be seen by all. PLEASE REPOST!

Wow, never seen a thread disappear like that...Not going to try to repeat what I wrote.

Congrats Warren. Thanks for opening the door to another world of awesome music. There is nobody out there who can bring all the quality musicians together like he has. If you have ever been to a Christmas Jam you know what I mean.....He has truly opened my ears to some awesome music I would have never heard or even thought about listening too.

Thanks Warren!!!

Many, many thanks to Warren for the music you've brought folks through your work with ABB, Gov't Mule, and your many other collaberations. There is still magic to be found at an ABB show and you are a part of the reason for that. And Gov't Mule ... it's an embarrassment of riches for those of us who love your music. Long may you play ... we'll be here awaiting the opportunities to hear you.
