http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2009/06/25/michael-jackson- reportedly-hospitalized-after-suffering-cardiac-arrest/

Michael Jackson has been taken by ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital after reportedly going into cardiac arrest, TMZ reports. According to the report, paramedics had to administer CPR to Jackson inside the ambulance. The 911 call from Jackson’s Holmby Hills home in Los Angeles was placed at 12:21 p.m. PST. No other details are known as yet, but Jackson’s mother is reportedly already on the way to the hospital. Jackson is in “really bad shape,” an unspecified family member told TMZ, while Jackson’s father Joe told the site, “He is not doing well.”

Jackson is in the Los Angeles area for rehearsals for his upcoming 50-show This Is It! run of concerts at London’s O2 Arena. As Rolling Stone reported, rumors claim that Jackson is often absent from the rehearsals, with a stand-in required to take Jackson’s place. While no reasons were given for why Jackson might be missing the rehearsals, questions regarding the King of Pop’s health have dogged the Thriller singer for years.

Thus far, the four opening This Is It! shows have been postponed due to the “massive and technically complex” nature of the shows and not because of Jackson’s health, a rep for AEG Live, who is staging the O2 concerts, told Rolling Stone. No official confirmation or statement regarding TMZ’s report was available at press time.

I'd rather the pedophile rot in a living hell than actually die

Q: How do you know when it's bedtime at neverland?
A: When the little hand is on the big hand

Q: What does Michael Jackso think "Boys To Men" is?
A: A delivery service

I guess the guy the needed some more publicity.

Lots of conflicting reports whether he's dead or alive right now. It might be one of those Jim Morrisson or Elvis scenarios.

I agree on the J5 stuff for sure, Hugh.

Even Thriller.

But I could never get past the whole "Did he or didn't he " thing .

There's some things that I can forgive a musician for, but that's not one of them.

But what a tragic life...

I loved him in the Jackson 5 but not so much after that. I do feel somewhat sorry for him as I think the whacko behavior in his later life was due to him never having a normal childhood. He and his brothers would be beaten if they didn't perform up to par by an extremely abusive father. Not making excuses for all of his bizarre behavior but I really think this guy lost it along the way due to his abnormal childhood. I think we should avoid pi$$ing all over his memory for a little while though as a sign of respect to his mother and brothers and sisters who I am sure are in shock and pain right now.

August 1977....

REPORTER: "Mr. Lennon, did you hear? Elvis Presley has died.

JOHN LENNON: (pause)......"Elvis died in the Army."

I grew up on Jackson Five stuff. I was a fan up to Thriller, but after that, I wasn't crazy about his weird behavior. Still, he was a son, brother, father, to some folks, and that should be respected.

R.I.P. to the self proclaimed King of Pop.

You're absolutely right Dave. It's tuff not to be cynical about the 'circus' that has been M. Jackson but we are talking about a life here. This is a shame in the big picture anyway you look at it.

I agree completely with these quotes guys...not condoning all the crap about him in any way shape or form, but...

Not many survive unscathed a life like he led....

If he has died, R.I.P. Michael.

It's not my place to condemn or judge him.

That matter will be taken over by someone else.

I did like him in the Jackson Five.

Aside from all the personal issues or whatnot, there is no doubt this man made some of the best music the world has ever heard. And now there is no chance of hearing any new music from this man again.

Let the jokes take a rest, because all its doing is making you look like an immature child.
