What do you think of this album? I have it on right now, haven't listened to it in a long time, and for some reason it has more appeal right now than it did a few years ago (something that oddly enough, seems to happen with all the more recent Stones releases). I think it could have been stronger if some of the filler wasn't there, probably a complaint lodged at most latter day Stones albums.

They were old but VL was new, which is good unlike some bands

probably the best post 80's stones album. probably the best stones album after tattoo you although steel wheels is a favorite of mine. also imo the last stones album to feel like a stones album. after that bridges to babylon and a bigger bang have tunes that feel like jagger or richards solo tunes and sometimes only jagger and richards appear on certain tunes with the drums and bass being a studio musician or what not

Somewhere in this house....I have an interactive computer disc "Rolling Stones--Voodoo Lounge". Got it when the CD came out and computer disc software was just starting to mainstream. You've inspired me to look for the darn thing. May be very primitive or still interesting on a realitively 'modern' computer. I remember you traversed to all kinds of rooms and other weird stuff but it had interesting clips and info .....will share if I find it.

You just reminded me that the Stones 'Stripped' CD has some sort of extra bonus PC things on it, that I never could get to work....admittedly didn't try too hard.

A well rounded album it contains some really good singles "Love Is Strong" & "You Got Me Rockin'" but I like some of the nasty songs like "Sparks Will Fly" & "Suck On The Jugular"!
