This from Pravda and who better to know it when they see it. An interesting aside, the writer appears to be speaking derisively of "Marxists." Something else they know and we have yet to learn (the hard way)?

# # #

American capitalism gone with a whimper
(Pravda)

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

The Weimar Republic? Really? How about monetary reset! You can't destroy a democracy overnight, it takes time, and you kids money! Capitalism is dead, long live the fascist!

A Lady using the Weimar currency to heat her home, we will be using dollars to wipe our asses. The dollar is dead and monetary reset is just around the corner.

quote:
Since striking workers were paid benefits by the state, much additional currency was printed, fueling a period of hyperinflation. The 1920s German inflation started when Germany had no goods with which to trade. The government printed money to deal with the crisis; this allowed Germany to pay war loans and reparations with worthless marks, and helped formerly great industrialists to pay back their own loans. This also led to pay raises for workers and for businessmen who wanted to profit from it. Circulation of money rocketed, and soon the Germans discovered their money was worthless. The value of the Papiermark had declined from 4.2 per US dollar at the outbreak of World War I to 1 million per dollar by August 1923. This gave the Republic's opponents something else to criticise it for. On 15 November 1923, a new currency, the Rentenmark, was introduced at the rate of 1 trillion (1,000,000,000,000) Papiermark for 1 Rentenmark, an action known as a monetary reset. At that time, 1 U.S. dollar was equal to 4.2 Rentenmark. Reparation payments resumed, and the Ruhr was returned to Germany under the Locarno Pact, which defined a border between Germany, France and Belgium.

RBK, getting desperate for new material, resorts to quoting Pravda. Too funny.

In the meantime, he still won't clean up his unfinished business...

LOL! Dick Morris must be on vacation. I am not surprised that our "girlfriend" RBK would take a website that features that a "Baby Cyclops" was born in India as serious news. The one about Obama's grandfather having eaten a missionary is also a serious piece of journalism. Nice sister, keep these cut and paste articles coming they are a real riot.

What's even sadder is to witness the profound ignorance and spite of those who are enabling BarryO. If you'll notice not a single one of them can muster a defense of their Messiah. Not even a tiny accomplishement. None. All they can do is ridicule those who acknowledge the truth they refuse to see.

Actually it looks like based on some fairly easy research exposing this Pravda site you deserve all the ridicule being thrown your way.

Whatever. Can YOU site a single accomplishment or private sector job created by BarryO's economic "rescue"? Or can you merely, as per usual, deflect and post pictures? Defend your Messiah. Tell us why rational people should prostrate themselves before him as you do.

Well, as somebody pointed out (and you ignored), the stock market is in a bit of a recovery - which will help lead to jobs. A road near my house was repaved with stimulus funds - somebody did that work. My company is applying for stimulus funds for a smart grid project - which will lead to jobs. There are news stories everyday showing that some industries are actually doing well despite the downtown - maybe if you looked somewhere other than Pravda and Dick Morris to find out what is going on....

Okay now you are starting to sound like a crybaby again. Most rational people I know would never have posted an op-ed from Pravda. LOL! I am not sure if it is 4:20 yet but by the tone of your post I would think you could use a drink.

as opposed to:

Christian Zimmerman, president of the construction company Pike Industries, said his company planned on laying off as many as 100 workers, or a little less than 10% of its staff, last fall. Instead, Pike, which makes gravel and paves roads, has hired 65 workers in the past three months, and has plans to hire another 70. Zimmerman says the new hires can make as much as $90,000, though jobs at his company start at $25,000, and most pay less than $60,000. Pike, which is based in Belmont, New Hampshire, has landed 10 new contracts since the stimulus bill was signed. "At our company alone, the stimulus bill has amounted to a 250-person swing in the economy," says Zimmerman.

John Berger, chief executive of Standard Renewable Energy in Houston, said he expects his company, which helps homeowners make their homes more energy efficient, to nearly quadruple its employees in the next year, in part because of the stimulus bill. Tax credits in the bill have boosted demand for windows and insulation, he said. Berger's company, which had just over 100 employees last fall, plans to hire as many as 300 workers this year.

Francis Jamiel said his company would have been out of business had it not been for the stimulus package. Jamiel owns a shoe store in Providence, R.I. He told of eight different banks that turned him down late last year when his 73-year-old business, struggling from the economic downturn, was badly in need of a loan. In March, he was able to secure $400,000 from a credit union through a program set up by the stimulus plan, whereby the government provides insurance for small-business loans. Jamiel said the loan has allowed him to restock his store, Jamiel's Shoe World, and that sales have nearly doubled in the past few months. "If the government can save small businesses around the country, that will make a big difference in the economy," said Jamiel. "All we need is access to credit."

According to Biden, the $787 Billion stimulus plan has created 150,000 jobs. So far that's only $5,246,666 of borrowed money per job, and the interest on that money costs us around $2 Billion a month. What would we do without all their help?

So far....

Its a bit dishonest to pretend as if this is the extent of jobs created by the stimulus money.

EDIT: As a matter of fact, if you break down those jobs over the past 3 months, thats 50,000 jobs a month. Not a bad bit of accomplishment. If you want to project 50,000 jobs per month for the next 4 years (or 8) you might come up with: 2,400,000 jobs in 4 years and 4,800,000 jobs in 8. In case you are as bad at math as you are logic, those are millions of jobs.

Nothing at all dishonest about my post. Not a thing.

But, now that you mention it, the economy has been losing around 600,000 jobs a month for the last three months. So 1,800,000 have been lost while 150,000 have been created? That's a net LOSS of 1,650,000 jobs. Now that's some major job creation! Thanks, Joe!!

Except for that whole "150,000 jobs created out of all that stimulus money" implication, youre absolutely right.

Thats a better way to look at it, but youre still including the stimulus money as being a "waste" in job creation, as if no more jobs are to be found with that money and thats not an honest representation of the stimulus money. Additionally, the losses of these jobs was going on long before the stimulus was even an idea in a politicians head. Once again, you can thank the previous administration for the current conditions.
