OTIE,

I thought you were leaving this board and never coming back? You are a liar and an attention whore!

You still have not answered my question about your finances? Do you have a hedge against the dollar or not? Surely you are not hanging your family out to dry by only owning interest in American dollars? Surely you have some gold, silver, or foreign currency? Why won't you answer my question? What are you going to do when the dollar crashes and the bond market implodes? Surely you don't own bonds? Just answer the question. It's not hard. Tell me you are smarter than that?

I switched over to silver about a month ago. It must have been while you were in exile from the WP. Silver has seen the highest 30 day value increase in the last 23 years this month.

How can you rescue your equity if they foreclose on your home? Surely your smarter than that?

You seem to be on tilt this morning, surely you are smarter than that?

Oh, how the sheep will fall.

For a good laugh, watch the video at about the 4 min mark. After ranting that bailed out companies should have to go bankrupt, Nelson says he once received food stamps and welfare. He then says nobody bailed him out, they only gave him hope.

No, he was given cash and its equvalent, which is exactly like a bailout. Of course "journalist" Beck said nothing, rather just flashing a stupid grin.

I'd like to say I noticed this, but Olberman did, and thus awarded Nelson as one of the worst persons in the world yesterday.

I have taken another approach, by adjusting my W-4 at work to show I have a rather large family. They're taking a lot less out of my paycheck and it's great! If enough people did this starting Monday morning, the government would soon be screaming bloody murder. I say it's time to treat them like a spoiled child. You don't get it until next April so just keep your trap shut and wait.

One problem with that is if you underpay by too much, you pay a penalty. Be careful with that.

Good advice...10-4

Haven't stopped laughing about the absurdity of the title of this thread. Coach is now moonlighting as an expert financial advisor???? Who knew?

Ummm ... right, Craig ????? I'm glad I didn't waste any time watching the video now if this was some of the content.

Anybody who has watched this clip, please tell me what Nelson said that is wrong. Don't tell me he was drunk, don't tell me he was goofy. I'd really love to have anybody who frequents this forum, and describes him or herself as supporter of the President's actions, to tell me what Nelson said that is wrong. Thanks

He said that when he was on welfare and food stamps, nobody was helping him. I believe that is incorrect.

True, I should have been more specific. Sorry. My point is that the fed gov't bailing out the State of Cal. is taxation without representation. A citizen's response to tyrannical behavior by his gov't has to be more than just a whimper. We all need to make individual choices about our response to what OUR gov't has done TO us, its citizens. Mr. Nelson is considering not paying his income taxes, others are writing their elected representatives, some call radio talk shows and others are posting on internet forums voicing their dissatisfaction. I don't think that Washington, be it DEM or REP, is representing the interests of the American citizen. the same can be said of some state gov'ts. We seem to have a new class, the political class, running our country, which is unresponsive to we the people. I don't mind telling anybody that it scares me, too. May God bless us, we sure need it.

He said he was 'considering" it, and hedged on it as he was questioned more - I think he knows the consequences, especially when you publically tell someone you are going to do it....

The IRS won't have to look far - they probably already have a tick mark by his name for his next returns....
