Easily one of the best shows on television......Larry David is a genious. You can really tell how much of Seinfeld came from him by watching Curb.

Im a Curb fan....but that show had a more warped sense of humor. Larry is a very odd guy in that show, and probably in real life as well.

I use to watch it. Its one of those shows that kind of grabs you, gets on your nerves a little, but you keep watching to see what happens next............

from what i understand, a lot of it is improvised. so, the weirdness of larry david is larry david being larry david.

My particular favorite episode is when Larry and that other actor (cant remember his name) buy into a restaurant and Larry hires the chef with torrets syndrome, and while all the people are eating, the chef has one of his attacks.....I dont think I ever laughed so hard.....lmaoo!

I think the actor is Ted Danson... Great show by the way. I'm a newbie to the show-watching repeats. Besides his genious is the amount of other well established actors who are on Curb.

This show is hilarious, all the guest apperances are great. My favorite episodes are when Larry gets tickets to the Dodgers and he hires a hooker so he can drive in the HOV lane, and the Krazy eyes Killah episode.

Quite possibly the funniest show of all time. "LD" is a frickin' genious. Last season had to be the best yet...I wonder if they are gonna stick w/ the Blacks and Cheryl is gonna fade out? I love Cheryl, but Larry and Loretta are an unstoppable couple. When Susie attacked Larry(again) in the end of last season's final episode and called him a bald f*ck; prompting Loretta to jump in her face and call her a fu**ing bit*h while slamming the door in her face...I almost died laughing(and cheering)!!! Finally, someone who can be a bigger bitch than Sue! For whatever reason, Marty Funkhouser aka. "The Funk Man," might be my favorite character. He's like Larry's polar opposite who always manages to see through Lar's bulls*it. I also love Jeff. I have to agree "The Carpool Lane" might be the funniest episode. When Larry and the prostitute got Nat high for his cataracts and Larry smoked...that was THE most accurate portrayal of what great pot can do to people who don't smoke! CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just catch the show occasionally, but Jeff Garlin, who plays Larry's agent, actually use to be a security guy at rock concerts back in the early 80's at the old Hollywood Sportatorium.

Before getting assigned to the different areas for the evening, we'd muster up on the steps, and Garlin would stand down there with the 2 supervisors, and just run his mouth endlessly, and a lot of it naturally, was funny.

Actually caught one of the 1st times he ever performed standup in Ft. Lauderdale. He was the first comic on for the early set, and the last one on for the late set. We caught the late set, and when Jeff came on it was about 12:45 am, and it was my table of friends (about 5 of us), Garlin's parents, and about 4 other people in a club that held about 500 people. I think it was called the Comic Strip on North Federal Highway.

He also one time ran out on a football field and tackled a drunk kid from our high school, who had decided to march around with Garlin's old high school band at halftime.

Garlin was quite the character back in the day.

It's a laugh out loud show. I went to school with Sussie Esman. She was so shy in grade shcool. She is hilarious. Love Larry. I also read that the show has a story line but no script. Pretty amazing. When is it coming on again?

I just want to clarify, I do have a tickle in my anus.

The only advice the regular cast members give to guest actors/actresses....Don't try to be funny.

Yeah, according to the cast there is no script per say. Before each scene Larry tells the people in the scene was the subject of the scene is, then ACTION.

at first, the show made me squirm, just knowing how aweful he was, but then i guess i started to understand what they were getting at and love it, esp the funny twists, and how everythings comes together (or unravels!!) at the end.

the HOV episode cracks me up every time.

Wanda Sykes is a riot also. "You see a balck man in a vest and you think he's parking cars?!?!?!"

the show reflects LD's real life as his longtime wife just divorced him. he's gotta be a nut to deal with, he's really being himself on the show, instead of thru george.

there's a funny pic of him from his SNL writer days (mid 80's??? - that's how he knew Julie Louis Dreyfus), and his hair is just BAD. i don't think any of his skits every got done on SNL, and he was only there for a year.

when does the next season of Curb start??? i can't wait to see what's going to happen next.
