Hi all. I think I will venture to Wanee this year, but I never have been, so need some help. I have looked at the ABB site and Wanee site and all they do is list the bands. I need some days and times please. Plus where do you all stay. The best I could do so far was in Lake City. Thanks for any help.

Hilarie

as of yet there is no word on the schedules hillary!

and do yourself a favor and stay onsite. last year some of my friends left to go back to their room at midnight and missed the best set of the festival (IMHO) with Jr. Brown. (He played till three or four and warren came out).

stay. trust me. if not Lake City is the town that SOS is in, and it is about a 5 mile trip (if i am remember correctly) down from the exit.

btw, if you are flying in, and are worried about bringing camping gear, it still might be cheaper for you to buy a tent at the Wally World there in lake city.

That Jr. brown show was great. He came on late and played late w/ Warren sittin' in. Great time at the mushroom stage!

My advice about Wanee, it don't matter what the schedule is!!!

That, and bring lots of sunblock and water. We won't be seeing our breath in the air at night like '05.

Its the best festival and venue anywhere in my opinion. Best camping, music, atmosphere guaranteed every year.

Yea, Wailers 'Exodus' to close it out Sat. DtB (with a myriad of sit ins no doubt will be in front of a packed late night show on the mushroom stage. I'd guess maybe Mule before the Brothers one night on the main stage, Doobies another.

Toots & the Maytals are no longer going to be there, but add Buddy Guy to the line up.
