Joe ain't too shabby. Funny how Joe is getting trashed here just like Clapton before him,
and still is.

Guess the people are pretty clueless here.

The guy shooting that video was about ten seats to the right of me ... tried to get to him at the end of the show but he got away before I could talk to him

That is so cool. How was the rest of the show. I understood Joe, said it was the best moment of his life playing with EC.

Although i do not agree w/the Joe or Clapton bashing ( I dig them both) I can assure you that the people here are far from clueless about music...they may not always agree on an Artist...but clueless? No...................

Bashing Artists as good as Clapton is, especially after he just played with the brothers for two nighst and 6 to 7 songs per night, and mixed the sets up and oh yeah played some of the brothers tunes, IMO is just plain stupid. Clueless no, stupid and in bad taste, oh yeah!!!

Lets just see what the future has in store for the ABB & Clapton.

After playing that track with EC, Joe actually said something like "That was the funnest thing I ever did" ... and he kept referring to playing at the Royal Albert Hall as being the best day of his life. It was a great gig ... my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it all ... sure hope a decent audio recording turns up

I think he also said it was the first song he ever learned to play.

This was recorded for a future release.

One or two people at the most make a disparaging remark about Clapton or Bonamassa on an Internet Forum and there are promptly dozens upon dozens of posts defending both artists. Then someone makes a statement generalizing all the folks here as clueless. Hmmm ... let's see ... The folks who made the original remarks have come off as, at the very least, tasteless in musical palletes. The person who calls us all "clueless." Now that is stoopid!

Thanks for posting this... very cool. And it sounds like this was especially meaningful for Joe to be sharing that particular stage with EC. Nice!

Many great musicians have stories told about them

In the age of the Internet, many are so over blown.

I have heard a few about Clapton over the years, and most if not all
were unfounded.

I think Joe is a killer guitar player, who is only getting better.

Can't wait to see this show on DVD.

I don't think we should feel inclined to like someone just because he played a couple shows with the Brothers, and it's not too nice to present your opinion as better than someone else's.

That said, I dig both Clapton and Bonamassa.
