Saw him in Athens Ga in the early 80s. For some reason everyone was
screaming for him to play Southern Man. But since it was the "Trans" tour
they didn't get it. Just Neil w/guitar and some tape loops.

Love Neil Young!!! (more middle than southern here but if you're in Canada then I suppose I'd qualify as southerner )

The most recent performance of Neil Young I saw was at Farm Aid 2008 in
Mansfield, MA last year. A transcendent performance it was, for sure.
I was eyeing Neil's latest CD, "Fork In The Road", when I was in a record store
earlier today.
I'm currently enjoying a Neil show taped back on 9/25/84 at
the University of Texas, right around the time of the "Old Ways"
album.

I've seen Neil twice and loved both shows. Haven't had a chance to see him recently. I would love to see him with Crosby, Stills and Nash. I just haven't had the opportunity. I happen to have his two disc masterpiece "Decade" in the truck stereo at this very moment. Great stuff!

Have seen Neil many times over the years. Saw essentially the same show you did at MSG in December. Saw him a year ago at United Palace Theater when he did one acoustic set followed by on electric set. One of the few shows that apporached an ABB Beacon show. Also saw him do Greendale (when the tour was just touted as Neil and Crazy Horse.) One of my least favorite shows ever - the audience was transfixed like the audience in the Producers when they do Springtime for Hitler and people think it's serious.

As I always say (credit to Forrest Gump) "Neil is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get."

I'm a huge Neil Young fan, but he doesn't tend to tour down here very often recently, so I have never seen him live.

Neil certainly was on that night. A Day in the Life was unreal.
