IE8 sucks..! to be putting it mildly. Stick with Firefox unless you want to watch Moogis, then you might need IE7.

The problems I had with IE8 were that it acted as if I had lost my internet connection when I didn't or when checking my email go to another email either when I clicked on one particular piece or during my reading of it! After awhile I got tired of it. I might add I usually am the first to beta test anything, but I thought IE8 wasn't beta???

I've had it on both of my PC's for a few weeks now - very pleased.

The one I use the most for internet surfing was having all sorts of crashes with IE7 relating to Flash. Since loading IE8, all that's gone.

I had the same problem using IE8. Now that's some weird sheet! I was talking to a buddy and he sais he had problems with IE8 and some geek fixed his back to normal. The Geek told him IE8 wasn't good for XP. Anyone else care to comment?

I am using IE8 in conjunction with Vista and it appears to be working fine. Haven't tried it with my laptop which is running XP (and won't based on this ).

I think I am gonna go back to using Firefox, the only downfall of using it was I couldn't watch Moogis.

i've been using IE 8 since the beta release about three months back, and i love it.

all you have to do is right click on any text and you can google it immediatly. LOVE IT.

no issues whatsover except with legacy programs that wont play nice with this version of IE - but the compatibility mode works nicely so i dont mind

also i've just installed the beta version of Windows 7 - can you say OOOOOH YEAH???? now THAT is cool stuff!

I switched to Firefox on the advice of many just before the Beacon run and have had zero problems watching Moogis. I don't think Firefox is your problem.

I too have used Firefox successfully to watch Moogis.

I put it on XP at work and on my wife's laptop, no problems for us. But everytime I do stuff like that I take some time and clean up the computer a bit... So I don't know if that's what's helping...
