While we wait for the next Planet Hophead Bob, bbart, has offered another sonic gem, Gov't Mule July 10, 1997 from Ziggy's. not taking a spot, but i also have some fond memories of ziggy's. (it was just the drive back to blacksburg that was questionable). whoever gets the show, enjoy. I am sure it will worth it.

Thank you for sharing this show Steve!

If a better non-commercial audio stream of the original Mule exists, I haven't heard it. This one is from the band's soundboard and I think it surpasses even the pro-shot Nescafe Blues Fest show in circulation. The video stream is from an audience shoot, so the picture quality is fair with some typical glitches. But it also has some real nice close-ups that more than make up for its technical short-comings. In addition, the band was very emotionally involved in the music, as they were trying out new material live for the CD they were working on at the time.

All those elements combined made this a thrilling DVD for me and I highly recommend it to fans of the original Mule. If you enjoy the show, please share it with others.
Bob

It's good folks, like Steve and Don, that make it fun to be here. And as long as y'all keep diggin' the video, I'll keep doin' it. As Cool Hand Luke would say, just let me know you're there.
