I would be interested in some info on Wanee too.

Maybe info is elsewhere on HTB?

Not sure exactly what info you are looking for...but here are my thoughts anyhow...

Do NOT stay at a hotel offsite, unless you are just TOTALLY against camping. Even if you are a little into camping, DO IT. There is a vibe to this festival that you will unlikely find elsewhere and I just don't know if you get the vibe if you don't camp.

Your ticket includes primitive camping. Get a tent...

You can pack in all your food or rely on the onsite vendors for eats..or a combination thereof. There are stores onsite that sell ice and other supplies. There is also a restaurant.

When you show up, just drive around and pick a spot...your primitive campsite will NOT have an electric hookup...if you see a site with a number and/or electric hookup, this is an assigned site and is more than likely already sold to someone else.

There are showers scattered around the park. Use them early in the day...also the porta potties...use them early in the day.

The place is huge, 700 plus acres the last I knew, may be more acreage by now...bottom line is there are PLENTY of acres for you to setup your tent. Try to find shade for this.

When park your car near your primitive site, that is the last time you will use your car for the weekend.

When you walk to the concert(s) only take a folding camp chair if you need that, do not take beers, only one for walking...when you get to the concert gate, you cannot proceed in with your own beer, not to worry, they sell beer inside.

Be very, very careful if you choose to imbibe in other, non legal substances. There are cops and possibly undercover cops watching. Horror stories abound from unfortunate concert goers that were unlucky with this. You are now warned.

Do not overdo it during the day, pace yourself...alot of the more cool stuff happens late at night. You will need to be able to stay awake.

You can sleep in, in the morning...that is if you don't setup your camp next to a bunch of kids that never sleep and stay up all night playing their guitars and singing and/or orchestrate a drum circle.

What else do you need to know?
