Hi there.

Many of you probably noticed that my activity this past week hasn't been anywhere near what it was the week before.

Let's just say some "events" transpired that left me minimal time to devote to these ongoing efforts.

Over the next few days, I'm going to go through my PM's and email and try to get caught up on the auctions that I've already committed to. There are a lot of them, maybe up to ten, and there's a lot of nice stuff.

I've probably got about ten pages of PM's to go through, so please be patient with me, and don't feel bad about reminding me if I inadvertently left you and/or your item(s) out.

In a few cases, I've suggested that folks start their own auctions because I was so far behind. I believe a few of those are already up and running.

So far, I've only collected payments on two auctions - the first (long sleeve tie-dye) and second (Zebo strap). These payments have already been forwarded to Skip's daughterTara Salas (just yesterday).

I believe in most other cases - the sellers are directing the winning bidders to send checks directly to Tara.

Can I ask what follow-through is being done for the other auctions? Are shippers waiting for Tara's confirmation of receipt of funds before shipping? Are shippers requesting that funds come through them first, and then they forward to Tara?

I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but I just want to know if there are any checks in place to make sure that people have submitted their payments before the auction items are shipped.

Regarding CD sales -

It took a little longer than I anticipated for the CD's to be delivered - I just got them yesterday afternoon. I should be able to get them out Monday and Tuesday. I think we've sold 16 so far.

No problem Topdroog, times can be busy. I was planning on doing what Coot did for my 2-auctions. Have the check made out to Tara and have it sent to me and I will forward to her pronto. Also will ask that auction number be written in memo area on check. Once I recieve the check in the mail from winning bidder I would then ship the Item to the winner. I will pay the shipping charges. Hope this method doesn't offend anyone.

I understand completely, Randy. you're doing a great job on this. Your life comes first!

I have some stuff coming my way that Nicole (adorablesong) is donating (GREAT posters). As soon as I get them and take the photos, I'll post them and take care of routing the funds to Tara, then get the stuff to the winners.

With regard to the "Mystery Box", I've spoken with Clay and he ask me to send money
directly to Tara. He sent me her address. I have the money order ready and will mail it
out "Priority Mail" on Monday. Clay and Pam are still putting together everything. NO RUSH
They can keep adding if they choose. LOL

Remember when Clay said "the higher the bidding goes, the more I'll put in the box?" You can turn that around on him . . . "the longer I have to wait, the bigger it better be!"

Droog, I have received payment on the DTB cds I auctioned.

I was awaiting payment instructions on the painting of Duane by Lia that I won. I'm just going to include my check for that and send both out Monday. That one I'll make to Lia because I believe Linus said part of it was going to offset her supply costs for the painting.

Coot, I've asked linus (donator of the painting) to contact you directly to arrange for delivery. He should be following through with that soon.

Update: All CD's that have been purchased to date shipped today.

Please send me a quick note when you receive yours.
