I doubt it he sounded great during the Beacon run.

I sure hope not but he seemed to have more cups sitting around
than I remember during previous tours. Which doesn't really mean
he's boozing, but with his breakup and all...things can happen.

Keep on Rockin Gregg, best to ya

I seriously doubt he's back to drinking. Not after going through interferon treatments for Hep C. As for the drink cups, he always has at least a couple on top of the organ. I DO wonder what he has in them. Maybe it's just water, maybe he doesn't want to fool with the screw caps on bottled water.

He may have been drinking something a little stronger when he sang "One Way Out" at the Beacon each time - LOL!

I got Gregg's autograph after the 3-14 show at the Beacon, so I did see him up close. Honestly, I can't recall ever seeing him look healthier or more rested and relaxed.

For my moogis view, it looked like he had Starbucks coffee and gatorade in those cups at the Beacon.
Not sure why the obsession/interest in whether Gregg is drinking. Seems like a private matter to me. Are you back on the booze?!

How right you are dad. I have a friend down in Florida who had HepC and drinks a lot of beer, daily I might add. I tried to talk him about it, but he made snide remarks about smoking hooch, so I figured it's your life pal.

Amen. That being said, he seemed healthy, happy, sounded great, and appeared sober when I saw him at Beacon.

We and I think Gregg knows that drinking would be the absolute worst thing for him. Nobody has brought this up in quite awhile. Just wonder why barabajal did with his/her first post???

he might be drinking lemonwater, just lemons in water. Besides being refreshing it probably helps him vocally, keeping the throat clear, etc.

I am with dave, and the others here that realize that it would be pretty stupid to be drinking after all that Gregg has been thru. He is sharp as hell on the organ, and his singing has been great!

ask Yogi....'you can look it up'

as for the other comments, THIS isn't a tabloid? GO BACK AND READ SOME OF THE CRAP ON HERE
I was careful to leave Gregg AND alcohol out of the title.
I said my only concern was his health. i would hate to see him backslide after what
he's been thru. IF THAT'S WRONG to the folks who live and worship here, sorry

Hey man, I get your concern and I think you asked respectfully and in an open minded way.

I don't think you are gonna get a real answer on the boards though.

I think Gregg sounded better than I have ever heard him this Beacon run and I've been at each since 2002. No that is not a long history. I think he also looks better than I have ever seen him

Does it mean he is completely sober? Who can say.

I think you should take in a show one of these days and see how great he is performing if you haven't already and make your own judgment about his health. If I was making a guess, I would say no, he is not drinking and yes, he is taking care of his health.

In Tampa, March 1, after his show, I met Gregg and I was close enough
to kiss him and he didn't look, act or smell like he'd been drinking.
Gregg sweats a lot, so he needs the water to rehydrate.

However, Gregg is free to drink if he chooses.
It would not be our business.

I just don't know why this troll would even make this staatment. Know your facts and don't make **** up.

Most people here at HTW that know the band know that Gregg is not drinking.
