I might have to go and see this. I heard Bonnie was coming last week on the radio. I was hesitant to buy tickets at first. I like Bonnie and all ,but her music just has kinda got a light/contemporay feel to it over the last few years. I would like to hear here go more in the blusey direction and stay with that. But now I found out today Taj is going to be with her. They will be playing alone and together. Maybe this will change Bonnies song selection up and be more rootsy sounding in her tunes. I am not trying to slam on her, becasue I do like her and have quite a few of her cd's and albums. Just wating some blues stuff!! She is going to be playing here in Indy in August. Tickets are 37.00 and 62.00 I think.

This looks to be a good one - both of these musicians put on excellent shows and would be good to see them do some stuff together, too!

This is about the only show at Chastain Park that interested me at all this yr. I saw Bonnie 2 summers ago and it was pretty good. I thought she was plenty bluesy, and w/ Taj, probably more so. But I passed as I have a bluegrass fest about that time.

hmmmm - good combo for a show - might need to look in on that Newark NJPAC show.

Also - gonna go search Buddy Guy/Jonny Lang tour to see if they are going to be around. LOVE both of them! Thanks for that heads up!

This could be a lot of fun. I do see Red Rocks on the schedule 8/30.
