Someone on here mentioned a surprise Dead show in NYC on Monday does anyone have any more info on this?

They're on the View Mon, which I guess is filmed in NYC.

I knew they were on the View but that is only Phil, Bobby, and Warren. I had heard they were playing a surprise show at Battery Park but can't get official confirmation.

I too saw the postings by King last night. He claimed it was confirmed by a phone call he had with someone in the know.The rumor was the Dead will play a free concert in Battery Park on Monday. He also said "more info tomorrow". I haven't heard anything today.

Sure wish the Dead would have been in Battery Park LAST Monday when I was there...
