I just talked to a friend of mine that is an investor in Moogis and he said that he was told that Santana is showing up tomorrow night. No idea if it will happen but that is what he was told. Could be some good news for all of the kid-rock lovers

Still, it would be sweet. Imagine Carlos on "Dreams"...or "Leave my Blues at Home".

Mac Powell is my favorite singer at the time, Glenn Hughes has been for years...but the "feel" I get from Mac's singing is unmatched. I love Third Day, the message they give and the words they write touches my heart like no other band has. They are a big part of the reason for my Spiritual Awakening.

Here is some info on Brad Avery no longer being in the band :

Third Day and Brad Avery have made the very difficult decision to part ways. We appreciate Bradís many contributions to the band's career to date, including his work on our forthcoming album, but the time has come for us to follow our separate paths. He has been an important part of Third Day for the last 13 years as we've traveled the world together and performed over 1,000 concerts. We will miss him as a band member but he will always remain our brother and our friend. Brad is a wonderful person, gifted songwriter and talented musician. We trust that God has amazing plans for his future." He was the lead guitarist of Third Day. Mark Lee has now taken his place.

Carlos would be an amazing guest with these guys. Have seen he and Derek play together and it was very special.

So far that friend of a friend list that was posted has been pretty on target. Friday's guests should be Gary Rossington and Kid Rock. I won't be dissappointed. They can have any guests they damn well please or none at all. And I told Leo if Rossington comes on stage, I'll be calling out for Freebird. Why not?
The Brothers have a great sense of humor as proven by the beards Tuesday night. And who knows, maybe they'll actually play it.

A few years ago some friends and I went to see G Mule open for Kid Rock. We had planned on leaving but then decided we'd give Kid Rock a shot. Well we stayed for the whole show. Pretty good! Having said that I just don't think, even with a sense of humor, that this makes sense.

Don't care about Rossington guesting either. LS just lost a member but still have plans to keep on touring. Why? It would be like Greg and Butch gone from the ABB but the rest with subs kept on! Sure they could keep going but in spirit it would just be a cover band.

Give me Chuch and Jack tonight, especially after last night. Guests can be fun and can be great but there's nothing like hearing "just the band".
